What to Expect
Chu performs his album "Los Reparidos" with songs in both English and Spanish in a range that includes alternative melodic rock, song, Argentinean rock. The show also includes a solo piano section of about three songs.
Chu is an Argentinian singer/songwriter that established himself in Atlanta, GA, in 2009.
He studied music theory from an early age and continued with several professors studying guitar but soon broke from traditional music schooling in order to compose and perform his own music at age fourteen.
Chu has performed solo and with several bands throughout the years in Argentina, Spain, and and other countries including playing in the London Underground.
Chu has recorded his first English and Spanish album in May 2014 in Buenos Aires and where he also presented it live, and is now presenting in Atlanta, GA with the intent to start touring.
Chu's first album is called "Los Reparidos", which translates into English as "those who are given birth over and over again", and is based on a phrase by Gabriel Garcia Marquez from his autobiography, which states that “Human beings are not born once and for all on the day their mothers give birth to them, but ... life obliges them over and over again to give birth to themselves.”
The live show includes the whole album performed with the full band plus a piano song section in the middle.
