What to Expect
At an athletic 6'2, booming voice with broad shoulders and military bearing, I command a room and a crowd. With experience in countless corporate events, three-day corporate conferences and now weddings, I'm completely at home in front of dozens or hundreds of audience members and my good nature rarely leaves me without a smile. Extensive years of voice acting have trained me to bring just the right tone to every situation, including keen microphone control and pacing. I work easily with scripts or impromptu off a simple outline -- though well-written scripts are optimal for me and for your event. I'm professional, personal and flexible. Personal drama is not a factor in my work environment and I show up to work on-time in agreed attire. I don't get nervous in a crowd when things go wrong, I simply own control of the stage so audience members feel at all times that everything is going according to plan -- even if that plan is to fix whatever is happening on stage.
Depending on the audience, I have extensive experience in foreign accents and character voices.
Can emcee entire events in soft British, Scottish or Australian accents -- prime for themed dances, weddings or birthdays. More colorful gigs could include more use of wit and vocal humor as approved by clients.
Air Force veteran, voice actor, writer, designer and micropreneur, I've worked a broad variety of projects and events across the country and around the world. Born and raised mostly in the south, I've traveled extensively for various jobs and love conference and group events. I work easily with people from all backgrounds. From more than 16 years of military experience in public affairs, I'm comfortable with on-the-fly changes to scripts and event plans. In addition to my professionalism, I'm very good natured, quick-witted and easy to work with.
Additional Booking Notes
Though pre-event coordination on all event scripts helps us both prepare for an event, final scripts must be brought by client to event, due to constant last-minute changes common to event management. I do not bring any technical equipment with me to any event -- all must be provided by sound systems on hand. I wear pre-arranged attire on my own cognizance.
