EggCream and Company
is a singing group that was created with more than just singing in mind. It’s intent was to incorporate an internal family-like environment into its main purpose of entertaining their audiences. Its concept is to perform at various venues in an attempt to please their audiences and bring professionalism, intrigue, fun, and laughter to each. The members were chosen for their individual talents, experience, desires, loyalty, drive, consideration, kindness, friendliness, and respect for others. Their eagerness to progress and meet frequently to perfect and fine tune every aspect of their performance, is extraordinary. Their style of music is fairly diverse and not limited to a single genre. To find members that share the same visions and dreams, that are in accord with direction, and that have the willingness to do what it takes to achieve their goals, is unusual... BUT IT HAPPENED !
Their shows can incorporate a duet, a trio, a quartet, a quintet, acapella, music tracks, and occasionally a keyboard player.
Of the 5 vocalists, there are two extraordinary female singers. One of them, at a very young age, was crowned The NYS Sr American Idol Champion for 2009 along with other titles in the Cabaret Circuit. The other female vocalist is also well known in the Cabaret Circuit and studied under one of the premier coaches in that circuit, who coached many big-name artists. The three “male” vocalists were on a very well-known group in the Tri-State area, back in the late 70’s and into the 80’s. They worked in The Poconos just about every weekend for 12 straight years on a group called “EggCream Revival”. Like everything else in life, good things eventually come to an end and so did “EggCream Revival”. Two of those members went on to become part of popular doo-wop groups that were either nationally or regionally known. Not too long ago, 3 of the original members of “EggCream Revival” got back together again and along with the 2 female vocalists, now call themselves “EggCream and Company”. The cover songs that they do reach out to the groups of the fifties as well as such artists as The Fifth Dimension, Spanky And Our Gang, The Mamas and Papas, The Doobie Brothers, Neil Sedaka, Crosby Stills and Nash, and others. Their vocal arrangements are unique and their musical tracks are instrumental creations of professionalism and knowledge. The members include :
Scott LaChance; Esther Beckman; Nina Grand;
Paul Auriemma; and Patty Bello;
This is a brief summary of the group’s internal structure and goals.
They Hope To See You Soon !
