Overall it was a very good. Initial contact, arrangement and payment was easy and prompt. Tonia the attendant was friendly and efficient to wrap the party up quick at the end of the day. Took one star off because I had trouble getting in touch with them on the day of the event and I was anxious that i wouldn't have any service. Other than that, it was a good service

Very helpful in setup, knowledgeable about event planning on a tight deadline and answered all questions beforehand.
Unfortunately there was a spill which ended with some of our gear/bags covered in curry. While they cleaned the floor up quickly and it was spotless, our bags were drenched and the curry smell is devastating. Not a huge deal since we washed everything out with dish soap.
We used Lynette and C&C Party Services for our wedding waitstaff and bartenders. I can't say enough good things about Lynette and her team. Since we BYOB to the venue I relied on Lynette to estimate our liquor and beer purchase and she sent me a detailed list of her suggestions and suggested amounts. We followed her direction and she was right on! Also our venue had some logistical challenges (lots of stairs) and her and her team took it in stride. Literally! They assisted our caterer in transporting food up and down the stairs and kept everything clean and stocked. Lynette successfully worked another event at our venue several weeks before our wedding and shared some tips and best practices based on her experience at the previous wedding. Her knowledge and service was appreciated and all of our guests had a wonderful time and spoke very highly of her team of waitstaff and bartenders. I will use Lynette and her team again in the future and will refer her services to others.

My bartender for my 50th birthday party was Lee and he was prompt. He went right to work getting the bar area set-up and stocked. Lee was friendly and help to keep the drinks coming. Lee did an amazing job and I will request him for any future events.
I had a wonderful experience working with C&C and would definitely rehire the bartender they provided me at my next event. C&C are competively priced and ver professional, accommodating to requests and questions. The bartender reached out ahead of the schedule to confirm everything. She was so fun and pleasant. There's always lines around the drink area as people pour, spill and awkwardly get thier drinks. She kept the drink area clean and virtually no lines despite there being over 120 guests. I plan on using my bartender again and probably hiring in a few servers too!

At the last minute - 6 hours before my party I realized I would not be able to handle all the food prep, serve my guests and have a good time. LaNette answered the call and was a Godsend. We sincerely send our deepest apologies with this matter to the client. The waitstaff never showed up because they were not able to locate the actual building where the event was held. After driving around in the dark for 2 hours and stopping 3 times they used all attempts they could. The client had all of our contact info but never reached out. I don't want to place blame, but a quick answer of the phone could have cleared up everything. I can't help to think what would be the response if there was a terrible accident or something they were involved in. We contacted the client from that night on... even after and there was not much response or a phone call returned. So this is a first and quite a lesson learned. I've never experienced this with a client. It's unfortunate that this ended in such a manner, but we did make attempts even after to resolve the situation.
Lynette and her staff exceeded our expectations! They are organized and professional in every way. At the end of the night, they helped to make sure the venue was in broom clean condition and stayed later than they had to to help us finish the breakdown. Every team member was polite and accommodating to all of the guests and their extra hands ensured that the wedding went as smoothly as it did. I cannot sing their praises enough! If you need a well-rounded team to help with your event, PLEASE hire C&C Staff. You will not regret it.
The C&C team arrived on time and were amazing. The were very proactive and immediately set about prepping for the event. They were able to make suggestions to enhance the food and drink service, which was greatly appreciated. The party was a roaring success, and the C&C team were a big part of that.
During the party the team made sure all the food was appropriately presented and kept the flow of food coming from the kitchen.
The bartender was brilliant and very skilled. No matter what cocktail the guests asked for, he had it beautifully made in moments.
The post-party cleanup was amazing, and completed before I even knew they had started (I walked back into the kitchen and it there was barely any evidence there had been a big party!)

They weren't as punctual as I'd told them to be but when the job got going they took off and worked very hard. Some of the men that help the party seem like they really didn't care about knowledge of the courses they were serving from some guests were telling me . The bartender that was originally scheduled to assist the baby shower did not show up and sent a text message that she is not feeling well 20 minutes past the scheduled arrival time. We received a call from someone else from C&C Party Service and when realizing that the scheduled bartender is not arriving, she came to our event herself and was there within half an hour and from there she did a great job and we were very satisfied with her services.

I was the bride who organized the reception of my wedding. The servers were helpful particularly in the beginning, setting up tables, table cloths, chairs, serving drinks, providing cake cutters/servers, serving cake to guests, and clearing tables. However, as the afternoon went on, the servers did less and less. So I would say it was not top-of-the-line quality service. Several examples of the reasons for this are listed below, none of which are particularly huge issues, but areas for improvement.
Example 1: At some point I had to serve my own drinks, which was a surprise to me. And I know this was the case for a number of guests as the afternoon went on as well.
Example 2: My brother wanted a drink, and was getting ready to serve himself as a server watched, and he wondered if there was any ice left, to which the server replied that there was some in the cooler if he wanted. His response was that clearly that ice was the ice holding the drink containers cold and that ice had been touched by multiple hands. I certainly hope the server was not telling other guests to grab ice from the coolers.
Example 3: I was not asked if I wanted to keep the top tier of the cake, it was simply assumed on their part. I could imagine of course why they assumed this. However, we wanted to serve all of the cake and not keep the top tier to ourselves.
Example 4: Only cash or credit (via PayPal) is accepted. With PayPal payments, a percentage is added onto the total in order to cover PayPal fees. This amounted to about $7-8.
This review is for a wedding that we hired C&C to be the servers. It was an easy event with ALL disposables. We liked these people, however, their lack of experience was apparent and it not only showed to us but also to those paying for the wedding. Would be okay if the customer was happy, but their only complaint was about this staff. Bummer.
-Attire: asked to not wear gym shoes and showed up wearing gym shoes.
-Were not able to memorize appetizers and dishes before the event started. Had to keep reminding even though sign was posted.
-20 minutes late
-Need to be kept on task. Had to keep being directed to do certain jobs that should be inherent for a person who has experience serving at weddings.
-Lack of experience: some had experience most did not.
-Rushed some guests with clearing the table instead of asking if they were finished(as pointed out to us from the mother and father of the groom....ouch)
-The team of staff brought to this event were a hodgepodge of different ages. It seemed the owner brought mostly friends and family members and didn't seem like a real party service.
-The only negative remark we heard about the whole wedding was the aggressiveness of this staff we hired. Our client was not very happy about it.
-Kept buffet line filled and reported to chef when food was low
-Were able to get passed apps out efficiently
-About $19 per hour per staff person(great price. not worth it since customer wasn't happy)
-Flexible. Added more staff as the date approached and increased the time from 5 to 6 hours.
This was my first time ever hiring someone for party help. Micole arrived early which was just in the nick of time. She kept the kitchen spotless and refilled food as nessisary. I would recommend her and this service to anyone that doesn't want to be trapped in the kitchen.

I am so disappointed that I have to write a negative review of this company because I really had high hopes for quality service.
Lynette was a very nice person to work with via email, and she was kind on the phone when we paid. She made me feel like everything would be taken care of and everything would be spectacular.
I specifically wrote super detailed instructions into our contract so that she and her staff understood how serious I was about having exceptional service at our wedding reception.
I have never heard so many people complain to me about a vendor I've hired. I'm really disappointed. You really get what you pay for, I suppose. They were inexpensive - and the quality was awful.
Here are some of our frustrations:
-Service was poor, slow, and not responsive. I had many guests complain that they did not have enough food at their tables and requested more, but the service staff told them we had no more food - which was completely not true, they ended up sending us home with trays and trays of left over food. My guests requests were not heeded - they did not get second helping of food they requested or removal of dishes that were used. Dinner service was effectively a disaster. The food was cold when it came to the guests and it was not served quick enough, meaning some tables were mostly finished by the time other tables started. I clearly stated that there would be 300 guests and 30 tables, so this should have been planned for.
-Cake service was terrible. They lost the top layer of my cake - or maybe they served it! Which is very upsetting because now that tradition of having it on our 1 year anniversary is lost. They started the cake service WAY too late - half the guests were already gone! And they didn't serve the plates with FORKS! How were the guests supposed to consume the cake? And why was so much of it cut when you started after half the guests left? To be honest, I am just so upset about them losing the top layer of my cake. It was an important keepsake.
-Coffee and Tea service - non existent. The water was not even hot for the guests and so many of them complained to me about not being able to have tea because the water wasn't ready and the tea wasn't made. This should not have been an issue, it's such a simple thing.
-My father in law was so upset with the service, he said he had wished he could have gone into the kitchen and whipped them into shape. So many of the servers were just sitting around while guests were wondering when they would clean the tables or who would refill the water carafes.
-We should not have been sent home with any leftovers. If everything was served properly, there should have been multiple dishes and refills served to each table. Servers should have listened to individual requests for specific items and served it to them.
-A few guests even complained that the service staff was unprofessional and rude. This is a huge problem.
I would never recommend this company to anyone for any of the services. I am so disappointed in them. It left a big blemish on our guest's opinion of our celebration. It is so hard to hear from your guests and in-laws that they were so unhappy with the service at your wedding. I just can't express my disappointment enough. I wish I could have a re-do. Or at least the top layer of my cake back.

To the public I ask: if your service was this bad & all this actually happened wouldn't you communicate that before now?? Clearly we were at 2 different weddings, these "issues" are unreal; even the wedding planner can back me up. I don't have the space to vent here, but please know we didn't cut, steal, eat, serve, or lose your wedding top layer cake! I'm truly disappointed that you would accuse and bash people about things which didn't occur... without even asking us anything. If anyone has questions on this review just ask me for accurate details and not this fairytale!
We had Debbie and Lynnette out to our house for our wedding, and they were absolutely spectacular! Compliments from everyone that attended the wedding, and so many people were asking for the contact info so they could book them for their next party!!

Excellent party! On time, courteous, hard-working, Lisa and Robert did a wonderful job at our eighth grade graduation pool party We had about 40 guests that were running in and out of the house, this did not make Lisa or Robert nervous or flinch. They constantly made certain that the food was replenished, picked up dirty plates and cups. They know their way around the kitchen! I would definitely have them back again.
I hired C&C Party Services to supply the waitstaff for my wedding reception that was held at my home. From the moment they walked in they took over and took charge. They did a wonderful job and were very friendly. Even my guests complimented them to me. From getting the food ready to making sure the beverages were stocked to clearing tables and taking out trash to the cleanup where they put all food away - it was exactly what i needed to make sure the party was successful and i did not worry about a thing! I hired C&C Party Services -- 4 waiters (ended up only sending 3 for some reason - I was not notified that I was only getting 3 people, thus my ding on the communication) -- for my daughter's wedding reception. My sister and brother-in-law, both being in food service for many years, agreed to take on the "make sure everything gets done with the servers" role for the reception. When I arrived at the reception, my sister assured me that things were going fine, the servers were very nice and knew what they were doing, and things were going along nicely. I was so pleased to hear that.
As small gifts at the reception, all guests were given a mason jar with a small blackboard sticker on it with a piece of chalk (to write their name or whatever they wanted on the jar). My sister had instructed the servers to leave the mason jars on the tables as they bussed the dishes and everything else away from the tables.
My wife was equally pleased with the service the servers provided, and we were ready to tip the servers individually at the end of the night because they were hustling and bustling and doing a great job.
Then the bombshell hit.
One of the bartenders alerted the best man of the bridal party that one of the servers was taking mason jars from the tables and putting them in her car. The best man, being a police officer, didn't hesitate to go outside and confront this lady. The best man told the thief waiter that the glasses were for the guests, not the hired help. He said he wanted the glasses back, at which point she indignantly said "how many do you want back?" -- as if that question had to be asked. He of course said he wanted all of them. He did retrieve the glasses, but I was extremely disappointed that there was a thief amongst the work crew.
We really didn' t need this stress on the night of my daughter's reception. Come on people, the mason jars were like a two dollars each. So it wasn't the monetary thing of the thievery, it was the principle.
So I guess my advice is ... beware of C&C, as they obviously don't do a very good job of vetting who works for them.

Anyone who knows me understands I don't tolerate 3 things: laziness, thieves, and liars!! Please know this worker has been terminated from us as of 5/25/2015. I'm ashamed in my absence she chose to make such a careless, petty, & awful decision. This is not what we condone, and is totally unacceptable! I am truly sorry about this incident and can only move forward knowing this individual bad apple didn't spoil our group & doesn't reflect our conduct.

The bartender that was assigned to me was very friendly and cordial. He did arrive 15min late and therefore took a little while to start serving guests. He got his groove back pretty quickly though. The main issue was lack of knowledge in mixing drinks. He didn't know how to make a jager bomb shot. However, he was very open top the feedback and quickly re-did the shots. His personality made up for any shortcomings.

We hired a bartender for a holiday party in our home. Lynette was very responsive via email and answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly. The bartender kept everyone happy with cocktails and the party was smooth sailing.
Lynette was so amazing at our Holiday Party in 2013 that I wanted her--and only her--back this year. And in that year, she has set up her own fabulous group of helpers and runs her own business. IN ONE YEAR! And again, this December, I couldn't have been more pleased with her and Debra. Ran the kitchen while I as able to play hostess and cleaned up everything so I could settle down w/coffee when everyone left. Though I think some of the guests stayed late just to hang around Lynette and Debra!
