Hi! My name is Cat Stratakis and I am a singer-songwriter based out of Annapolis, MD. My live set offers a mix of today's music, 90s, Motown, and R&B. We cover anything from Bruno Mars, Pharrell-- to Nirvana, Metallica-- to Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson. I have a knack for being able to feel a room out and see what the "hits" will be. I can offer something simple, like me and a guitarist/pianist, or a full band. Even with a small set up, we can fill up the space to make it sound full!

What to Expect
This is entirely dependent on the type of gig, of course situations vary. We generally arrive to the venue an hour prior to the show, it only takes us about 20 minutes to fully set up (speaking for duo setup). My basic setup is me and a guitar player, and often we add a loop station and iPad to our set up so that we can add bass and drums without actually having those instruments there. It creates a surprisingly full sound for only having two people! Generally speaking, we start out with easy-listening music-- that is, more motown and older classics such as Stevie Wonder, Bill Withers, the Beatles, etc. Depending on the room, I can take these up a notch-- we either stay with the classics or I move to more Top 40/90s hip-hop inspired songs, and even some rap (nothing crazy or vulgar). With our live beats and loop station, we can totally make your party dance! We can be background music, or the main attraction-- it depends on what the client desires and the type of situation. We are very flexible.
