Coming from NYC it took me months to find the perfect DJ! I wanted a DJ that could mix latest House music with the most recent playlists from Ibiza, Miami, London etc scene along with some Latin. Budget event had the perfect DJ for my event. In addition they provided Uplighting too. I can’t believe how good they were and I highly recommend them! 5 star def well deserved.

Jason "Jelly Bean" was an absolute hit at our non-profit event! He listened to what our demographic was and delivered perfectly with his song selection and karaoke. He was flexible with times and was an hour early to the hotel despite bad weather and traffic. THANK YOU JELLY BEAN!! Budget Events was also great in working with our group. We will definitely use you again.
I had to book a different DJ at the last minute due our first DJ not being able to fulfill the event.
Budget events booked a DJ for us. They were very nice and polite. Our venue was at a church fellowship hall that held about 100 people. We had about 40 people of mixed age group. Our DJ did do a mix of music as requested.
The only reason I gave Budget Events 4 out of 5 stars is that I did ask the DJ more than once to turn the music down some because the venue was smaller than normal and the older guests were feeling a little uncomfortable. The mix of music was enjoyable but when the guests started enjoying a song, he sometimes changed it. He wasn't reading the crowd as well as I thought he should.
The DJ was good but could use some more experiences with smaller groups.

Thank you for having us DJ your 15 year old daughter's birthday party and thank you so much for your 4 star review. We always try to find that 'sweet spot' where everyone is happy with the volume. Sometimes that's difficult when the party is mainly for teenagers who request us to turn the volume up while some older ones request us to turn it down.
After a few early requests we usually find that sweet spot and really thought we did so here. We'll keep working on it because we want everyone to enjoy themselves.
The same is true when we're given a music list with such a wide variety. The teenagers have selected songs they can get out there and dance to. The adults have selected songs they like but that tend to clear the dance floor. The Phil Collins song 'In the Air Tonight' (1981) is an amazing song, one of the best songs of all time. But play it at party full of teenagers and it's going to clear the dance floor. We always want to play the customers song list and when we see such songs we try our best to blend them into the mix. Sometimes it doesn't get the desired results, but all we can do is try our best with the list given, especially when the list says 'MUST PLAY' in capital letters. Again, thank you for your feedback and we will use this to become even better. Our goal is for everyone to be happy at every event.

DJ was very good with the teens. Got them excited about karaoke and soon we had a full karaoke concert going! Played songs requested unless he didn’t have a “clean version” which was perfect for their age. Would definitely use again for teens or adult parties.
DJ was so much fun and such a great sport he even let my 7 year old birthday boy do several special requests AND give shout outs (some literally) into the microphone. Everyone raved about having a great time.

We had them at a house party for a birthday party. The price was great considering some offerers were almost triple the amount. It even included uplighting and karaoke machine for free. We declined the karaoke machine but accepted the uplighting. The uplighting was very nice for the event. They arrived early (8pm) for a prompt starting at 9pm- after setting up.
The DJ did pretty good without really having a song preference. It took us a bit by shock that he wasn't sure what freestyle music was (isn't that the original DJ music?). Isaiah (the DJ) handle it very well when the mother of the birthday lady got upset with there was a song that used the word "damn" and she went off on him for having such words on a song. He handled it like a champ and quickly changed the song (not many of us can handle her mom). Since this wasn't a child's party but rather an evening event for someone turning 45, there was no way for him not to know that someone would be that upset with a word (also should be added, no one else found it offensive). We were able to use a mic to for a singer to sing happy birthday. The DJ also allowed a belly dancer to provide him music on a jump drive and play over the speakers. He was very professional.
The one thing that I could see better improvement would be communication. It might have been more me than anyone since it was a birthday party verses a wedding and I not one requires a lot of high maintenance services. It was nice that several of the details of the event could be completed online such as the music, timeline of events, etc. which does cut down on the need of a lot of communication. Even with this, I would recommend services from Budget Events for any event.
I will hold off on the review until I see the final product. I was impressed by the professionalism and honesty at initial meeting. Hope the product is as great as my first impression of the two gentlemen sent to record the event Thanks Mike

They came in on 2 days notice for Valentine's day, with a couple hundred people walking around and killed it!

We are so happy with our photos. He got every shot we requested and many more we didn't even think of. The resolution is amazing, so crisp & clear. We paid extra for the photo album and glad we did. Even in today's digital age everyone loves picking up our wedding photo album when they come over to the house. They weren't the cheapest but definitely worth every penny. He blended in very well at both the ceremony and reception we barely noticed he was there. Don't hesitate to use them!

We hired Budget Events for our wedding and purchased their DJ & Photography & Videography package. The DJ was the best, literally! My friends told me he was the best MC of all the weddings they attended. He was very professional and friendly, but not overly friendly. He played all our favorite songs plus a few others that we hadn't even considered and we're so happy he did. We could tell he had a ton of experience with weddings. The photos were gorgeous and the video was so amazing we invited all our friends for a vewing party. They loved it! We highly recommend Budget Events.

Online Event Planning Tools
Create a flawless event by using our interactive Online Event Planning Tools. The Planning Form allows clients to design and coordinate every specific detail from location and times to first dances and bridal party introductions. The Event Timeline allows clients to specify the order of activities to take place at their event, from the start of cocktail hour to the last dance. When put in "timeline" mode, the client can suggest an exact time they wish an activity to take place. When put in "sequence" mode, the client can only specify the order of activities, without an exact time. Each tool is dynamic and totally modifiable for weddings, parties, or special events.
