What People Say About Brian Atkinson
Brian Atkinson is hilarious! So many of our supporters came up to me after the show to tell me how they laughed and laughed and enjoyed Brian’s comedy. He was just the right fit for our fundraiser. Brian put me at ease from the first video I watched, through the contract process, and his last interaction with our donors the night of the show. Our Comedy for Community Night was a success in large part because of Brian Atkinson. His personal touch and professional demeanor was a welcome relief during a stressful time. My team and I all agree, when you are looking for a comedian for a fundraiser or corporate event, hire Brian!

The Humane Society of Bay County (HSBC) hired Brian Atkinson for a comedy show to follow our annual fundraiser. First, Brian was so funny! He did a terrific job entertaining our supporters and board members. He tailored his material to make it relatable and specific to our organization which was delightful. Brian also helped us think through how to make the comedy portion of the evening more successful. And, he acted as the MC for the live-auction after his show. He has the heart of a teacher and his openness made for a truly memorable night. We happily recommend Brian for any event where a comedian can help to make or break your fundraiser or corporate event.

What a fun night of comedy! The Meadow Ridge Elementary School PTO hired Brian Atkinson for a comedy show at our parents’ night out fundraiser. Brian is hilarious and was thoroughly enjoyed by all those in attendance including parents, teachers, and administrators. Many of our guests went out of their way after the show to tell the organizers how much they enjoyed Brian’s comedic contribution to the evening! Brian also brought a warm-up comedian, Kim Cook, and we really enjoyed her as well. I first reached out to Brian about 3 months before our event. He was helpful and professional throughout the time leading up to it and easily rolled with our date and schedule changes along the way. I was looking forward to our comedy show with Brian Atkinson, and he certainly did not disappoint!

Fundraising is a key function for the Domestic Violence Coalition so that we may provide support to survivors of domestic and sexual violence free of charge. An evening of entertainment is an important part of that. We are so glad we trusted Brian Atkinson with our event! First, Brian Atkinson is very funny and our whole audience immensely enjoyed his comedy. Additionally, Brian showed a deep understanding of our goals and needs that he gained from experience with many similar events. Brian respected our wishes and kept the comedy 100% clean. He was very easy to work with, professional, reasonably priced, on time, and friendly. He also introduced us to Kim Cook, who opened for him and was a delightful addition. DVC would absolutely work with Brian again and heartily recommend him to other organizations.

The Monroe County Health Department hired Brian Atkinson to entertain our staff as part of a grant we received to thank our public health staff for all they did during the pandemic. Brian was our headliner, and he brought along a very funny opening act to give interesting variety to our event. Brian promised clean comedy, and he delivered – his “Horrible Person” moments were just the right edge to to his comedy scalpel, and I heard many compliments about him. Brian was very professional throughout the hiring process and leading up to the show. I knew we could count on him. Our staff and I heartily recommend him for your corporate comedian opportunities.

House of Hope Ministry recently held its first comedy show, starring Bob Smiley. Through social media connections we found Brian Atkinson to be an opening act and warm up the audience. However, what we received from Brian was FAR beyond those expectations! Not only did he kick off our show with a hilarious act, he provided great insight in how to organize the show, gain sponsors for our Non-Profit, and helped us to execute a successful event! He truly was a joy to work with and we received many compliments from our guests that he was a wonderful comedian! I highly recommend Brian Atkinson for your next comedy show, especially if you are in the Non-Profit world, as Brian will be a very valuable connection for you and your team!
Melissa Schindler, Board President, House of Hope Ministry
We wanted to provide an evening of fellowship and fun entertainment for our Marple Presbyterian Church members and local community. Brian Atkinson brought us a Clean Comedy Showcase, which included three other comics in addition to himself. They were all excellent and of course appropriate for our entire church. Brian was especially easy to work with, always professional, and always timely in his communication, and he is very funny! He produced a terrific show, and everyone had a great time! We are happy to recommend him for any church or organization who likes to laugh.

We hired Brian Atkinson as the comedian for our ArtiFlex company holiday party. But, then we had to cancel it. We rescheduled a full year later, and what a wonderful night! Brian performed material that was funny, appropriate, and special to us. He crafted some of his jokes after an interview with us, making sure he knew who we are and what would make us laugh. He was worth the wait!

Brian Atkinson performed a headline set of Clean Comedy at our Labor Day weekend entertainment event. Our campground was founded by the Free Methodist Church and many of our campers choose us because of the Christian environment. Brian understood our needs and answered our every request to shape his material for our audience. His comedy was not only clean, it was family-friendly and worked well for adults and children alike. I would be glad to recommend Brian Atkinson for anyone who needs a clean comedian.
Dave Luke, Camp Director, Somerset Beach Campground
What a pleasure having Brian Atkinson at our private event for seniors. Brian’s witty thinking, positive attitude, and compelling voice allowed him to persevere with twists from audience participation. With his immediate personalized connection to our group, he had everyone engaged through relatable storytelling, entertained with clean jokes, and laughing at the punch line for the full hour. We were honored to have Brian as a guest at our program and we look forward to working with him again soon.
Monica Turnbull, CTRS, Senior Enrichment Manager, Pioneer Resources
Brian Atkinson entertained at our company anniversary dinner. He was very responsive to our needs throughout the process and when show time came, he kept everyone laughing with his clean comedy and some jokes just for us. When the hotel conference room sound system didn’t work, he never missed a beat and filled the room with his voice. I would happily recommend Brian Atkinson for any corporate event.

About
Brian Atkinson is a comedian, an all-around nice guy, and a horrible person. His guy next door look gives way to surprising twists – like when he provided voices for PBS Kids and acted in a Lifetime Movie Network movie, as a serial killer, in the same studio, on the same day. His voice might be the first thing you notice, but his confidence, and engaging storytelling will keep you laughing. Brian Atkinson makes jokes, but only the finest artisan, hand-crafted, farm-to-table-saw jokes.

It's best to have a raised stage with lights so people can see me and I can make eye contact across the room. A sound system with great speech intelligibility is key. I prefer to work with a handheld microphone and I often use the mic-stand as a character in my work.
A glass of water is so helpful!
I can bring equipment as a additional service.
