St. Louis-based professional guitarist available for hire for solo and ensemble settings in the context of jazz, rock, pop, and classical genres.
I’ve played with Brian several times for modern worship at a church and he adds so much flavor to the songs. He’s always been prepared and I’ve enjoyed what he brings to the songs musically. I would definitely recommend him.
Professional, Personable, Accomplished, and infinitely talented. I have seen Brian at work on various stages with a myriad of groups as well as a solo act, and I am always amazed at his versatility as a musician. His compositions are thoughtful and creative, and he has the capacity to pivot between flashy and reserved as atmosphere, song, and situation may require. He has a way of brightening the musicians he works with, and indeed many of his students have gone on to produce prolific careers as a result of his influence. Between that and his extensive experience as an administrator in various positions, he has proven to be the most gifted networker I have ever worked with. His collaborative genius has attracted some of the most impressive celebrities I've ever had the thrill of meeting in person, and I will be forever grateful for his talents as a musician, educator, advisor, and friend. Pretty damn funny, too.
Anybody who's anybody in St. Louis NEEDS to know Brian Vaccaro.
