Brett Steele is a trainer, facilitator, and speaker with years of experience in human resources and organizational development. He received his master of science in Human Resources and Organizational Development from the University of Louisville and his bachelor of arts in Organizational Communication from Morehead State University. In 2013, Brett was selected for the Human Resources Education Community Engagement Award from the College of Education & Human Development at the University of Louisville. He is also certified practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, which is useful in understanding how individuals perceive the world and make decisions.
Brett specializes in soft skills training programs that provide individuals with the tools they need to become active listeners and better communicators. He sincerely believes in creating meaningful experiences that empower employees, while also making them more effective. He is passionate about building positive work environments, increasing productivity, and improving the morale in the workplace.
He has spent the last three years as the training coordinator in higher education for the nationally recognized University of Louisville. He has also worked closely with International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP), Credit & Financial Development Division (CFDD), and the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS). He is a member of the Kentuckiana Association for Talent Development, Louisville Society for Human Resource Management, and is a volunteer with Gilda’s Club and the American Cancer Society.
