I provide classical guitar music for dinner parties, weddings, funerals / memorial services, company parties, fund raising events, and academic convocations. I can add a level of ambience to your event that will give people warm and fuzzy feelings for years to come.
My wife and I enjoyed Brett's tasteful and well-played classical guitar during dinner at Gusto Osteria of Tucson, which is the near the corner of Tanque Verde Road and Sabino Canyon Road. We thanked him for his playing as we left, and he said he now regularly plays at this excellent restaurant every Saturday evening. We'll be back again soon for the guitar playing as much as for the excellent food, win, and ambiance.
Beautiful! Relaxing! Magnificent! Stunning! An all around pleasing experience. A must book.

Many audience members have commented about beauty of the tone quality and phrasing of my performances. As a classically trained player from an excellent guitar program I pride myself on providing a world class "classical music experience". I take my profession very seriously and offer nothing less than a piece of "art" in the form of music. This holds true for all of the material I play, from Bach to the Beatles.
Brett Lashley grew up in rural Illinois and received his first guitar at age 8, soon after began taking guitar lessons. At age 15 Brett began to study popular music with local guitarist August Wilke. During this time Brett performed with local rock and heavy metal bands. At 18 Brett studied for one year with Professor Kim Codo at Illinois Valley Community College. During his studies with Prof. Codo, Brett focused on writing guitar arrangements of popular music and was introduced to the classical guitar. Since moving to Tucson, Az. in 2001 Brett has studied with many excellent classical guitarists, including Phil Hemmo, Benjamin McCartney, Stephen Saulls, David Russell, Duo Assad, Jane Curry, Ahmet Sonmezler, and Professor Thomas Patterson. Since graduating Pima Community College in 2009, Brett has been teaching private guitar, ukulele, and piano. He is currently working on a bachelors degree in Guitar Performance at the University of Arizona.
