Brand New Crescent Moon is the "New Era" Grateful Dead Cover/Jam band. The group consists of young deadheads who are making sure that as the best music scene grows older, the music never stops and will forever be relevant. We play high energy authentic Grateful Dead music and can get very jammy and spacey. At our gigs everyone is guaranteed to be on their feet dancing to the great vibes. Jerry Garcia's daughter herself, Annabelle Garcia, says Brand New Crescent Moon has been passed the torch to keep the deadhead culture fresh and new to the generations of the hippies today and to give the vets a whole new fresh take on their golden days of the original dead tours.
