1. How many balloons can you twist per hour?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udf88 Quick Answer:<\/strong> Most balloon artists can twist 10-15 balloons per hour for standard designs and 20-25 balloons for simple designs. Be sure to check with your balloon twister to verify the needs for your event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I normally do 10 or 15 kids an hour to give them custom sculptures,” says Dave, owner of Pop Art<\/a> in Connecticut. “But, if you need a ton of balloons done quickly, I can do 25 kids an hour with really simple designs.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kaleidoscope Design<\/a> in Massachusetts quotes 10-12 kids per hour. “But we have a couple of options,” explains their booking agent, Jessica. “If they want really fast balloons, we can do about 20-25 an hour.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The difference is how elaborate the sculptures are,” Dave explains. “Most balloon twisters will use 3-5 balloons for custom designs. Anyone who’s doing one-balloon dogs probably isn’t going to entertain your guests.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. How much does a balloon artist cost?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\ud83c\udf88 Quick Answer:<\/strong> While the price can vary per vendor, the average cost for a balloon artist is $125-$175 per hour. If you’re looking for larger sculptures or are hiring an advanced artist, the price may be closer to $200 per hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I just have a standard $125 fee for the first hour and $100 for each additional hour. But a mileage fee applies for places 45 minutes or more from us,” says Amanda with Bubbles Productions<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brian with Balloon Nerd says, “I charge $200-$250 for the first hour, and then $175-$225 for each additional hour.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mallory with Berlin Talent<\/a> offers a package deal, explaining, “I would typically charge $400 for balloons and magic together. If the client wants to negotiate, we usually do, based on how the performer wants to proceed.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
