Sure like to connect with other frustrated bands/artists that get the feeling people think charity-event = free from us. Why don’t people understand that when they have a gig/event they must pay for food, the location, etc. as well as the musicians/band? Get this: six member band plus sound tech (7 people in all) for $175.00? Just $25.00 each when you break it down. Consider gasoline, travel time (round trip), loading and transporting equipment, set up, play time, tear down, etc. You can’t get seven plumbers/electricians to do that. “That’s too expensive…” Shaking my head here

    Anyone else?
