Barry Waller is a diverse singing acoustic guitarist and intuitively melodic electric bassist with 43 years international experience on large and small stages.
He has done extensive solo work in the pubs of Denmark, Switzerland, Finland and Northern Ireland, and has toured Eastern Europe, Italy, Germany and the UK with Deep Purple's "founding father" Ritchie Blackmore, and has performed on nationwide tours with many iconic singers from the 1960s.
Specializing in crowd-friendly 1960s and 1970s classic rock and pop as well as "deep cuts" (Beatles, Stones, James Taylor, Doors, CSN&Y, Springsteen, Dylan, Grateful Dead etc.), Barry is available for live work as well as studio projects.

He toured Europe extensively as a solo entertainer, and then with Deep Purple's founding father Ritchie Blackmore as a salaried member of Blackmore’s Night.
Most recently, Barry performed in over 60 U.S. cities as singing bassist for the multi-act Happy Together tour with original members of the Turtles, Three Dog Night, Gary Puckett and others.
As a solo performer, Barry delivers a refreshing "outside the box" repertoire equally suited to casual listeners and discerning "hard-cores."
Similarly, as a singing bass player, Barry is a quick intuitive study whose precise rhythm sense and melodic flair make him the perfect choice for anything from singer-songwriter projects to 1960s-1970s classic rock and pop, both live and in the studio.
I provide my own PA system for gatherings of up to 100-150 people; for larger events PA rental is recommended.
