Barbara Lowman has a music genre all her own. With her unique tone and humbleness to the Lord, her music will touch your soul. When Barbara sings, she captivates her audience from children to senior citizens. Barbara began singing as a teen (1980s) but actually started her ministry in 2010. During 1990's she served in the US Army and also sang lead in a Christian band! Since starting her ministry in 2010, she has ministered at various venues such as weddings, social events, church events, funerals, reunions, senior dinners, awards banquets, fund raisers, Women's Conferences, Teen Conferences, etc. This year she is writing/recording her second project that should be released early 2014!

God truly controls her voice and her ministry, the presence of the Holy Spirit is very evident in Barbara's music.
Barbara's debut project "Child of God" was produced by producer Ricky Rodriguez who has also worked with Eleventyseven, The Advice, Benton Blount, 7-Miles, and more. The songs on Barbara's first project were carefully selected to give you a peaceful worship experience. Barbara's first single from this project, "Child of God" was released to radio on (Crystal Collins Ripkoski's) Crystal Music & Promotions compilation in March 2012 and charted #53 of the top 80 gospel new releases nationwide. Her second single, a remake of the hymn, "I Surrender All to Thee" was released to radio on (Susan Whisnant's) United Independent Artist compilation in August 2012. Her third single, Barbara's original song, "Don't Know What to Say" was released to radio on Crystal Music & Promotion compilation February 2013 and charted #47 of the top 80 gospel new releases nationwide. Her next single, He Knows My Name (by the Mcraes) will release to radio in May 2013. Barbara will also start work on her second project mid 2013.
Barbara is normally solo but has shared the stage with southern gospels greats such as Adam Crabb, the Melody Trio, the Michaels, the Mcphails, among others! Barbara has performed in venues ranging from small intimate settings, churches with attendance of 15 to churches with attendance of 300, weddings, funerals, revivals, college groups, fundraisers, business meetings, awards dinners, Mission Conferences, Women Conferences, guest singer at talent shows, and more. She was featured as Country Gospel Music Artist Spotlight for Sgn Scoops Magazine in April 2013 and was nominated for new female artist for the Country Gospel Music Association awards in August 2012. Barbara has enjoyed several radio interviews in NC, Tenn, and Kentucky.
