To say that Arethusa Strings is the most AMAZING violinist would be a huge understatement! I hired her and her favorite guitarist to play during my wedding ceremony and for my cocktail hour. She is so magnificently talented, and the guitarist was such a compliment to her beautiful music! My guests said that when they heard her play for my ceremony they immediately started crying (happy tears of course) because it was just that beautiful. They were extremely professional, communicative and punctual. Planning a wedding (twice because of covid) wasn’t easy, but Arethusa Strings gave me so much comfort in knowing the music would all be taken care of. She was so easy to work. I felt like she really cared about me and my wedding, and wanted to give me the gift of her beautiful music. Arethusa Strings is a must hire!!

Victoria was the highlight of my wedding reception. I could hear her beautiful music before I even entered the banquet area and when I did enter, the first thing a server said to me was, "Where did you find her? She is amazing!" Guests from the wedding rave about Victoria and she is what everyone remembers. If you are hesitant about booking, I would recommend doing it because I would book Victoria a million more times over and over again.

I was desperately looking for live music for my wedding ceremony, and most musicians have very, very expensive rates. Thankfully I found Victoria. She does not only have the best rate (affordable and reasonable) but she is a PROFESSIONAL musician. She plays so beautifully that my guests felt they were at a concert. I didn't need a full strings band, her solo is magical. If you are a busy bride, she will make it easy for you. Wow, Wow, Wow! She was the most amazing addition to our special day we could have had! She personalized our experience by emailing her auditions to us (so beautiful). She called two weeks prior to wedding to answer last minute questions and finalize options. She even asked what attire we wanted her to wear. She arrived early and stayed till the end. We highly recommend, her price is very fair and she is a top notch professional.

Victoria playing during our wedding processional added that little touch of magic to bring the fairy tale to life! Especially as I walked out to meet my groom to her perfect rendition of Natalie McMaster's "Blue Bonnets Over the Border" - there wasn't a dry eye in the room!

In performing for families attending our “neighborhood memory café” gatherings, she transformed their struggle with memory loss into a sweetness of memory gems — filled with familiar tunes and historical take-me-back lessons. My husband and I engaged Victoria to play the violin at our outdoor garden wedding, as part of an acoustic group (with a guitar, clarinet and cello). They played multiple pieces that my husband had chosen - including a few pieces that he self-modified or arranged. Victoria's talent, professionalism and enthusiasm was truly impressive and second to none. She picked up the pieces and variations effortlessly, needing no practice for any last minute additions/changes, and I still remember the beautiful sound of her violin solo at the very end of my walk down the aisle! :)

I can honestly say Victoria is 110% the Absolute Best Musician you can hire. She played at my wedding and we were astounded by her musical ability - she has played with Juilliard musicians and for the Yale Symphony! As well as her professionalism, communication, her kindness, and her willingness to work with us to choose the best music for our wedding. She can play literally anything you want, her musical repertoire is so extensive, it’s not hard for her to easily pick up and play any piece beautifully. As someone who was incredibly picky about my wedding music (and as someone who has a background in music) I didn’t want just anyone to play at my wedding, I really wanted someone who would be Good and she met and exceeded our expectations!! Many of our guests, including those with and without musical backgrounds, commented on how beautiful our ceremony music was and asked who was playing. I have been going to Victoria's violin recitals since she was very young. Everyone in our family
who attended her performances thought she was wonderful. We invited her for a private performance
for a small family group (in our house no less), and she did not disappoint us. That was some time ago but she remains in our hearts today.
