Antoine D. Jackson is a ten-year nonprofit professional. In his present role, he is the Corporate Development Director-Detroit for Special Olympics Michigan. There he provides leadership for planning, coordination and implementation of fundraising initiatives with targeted focus on corporate entities, centers of influence, and other major sources of support. Employing proven development strategies in researching, identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewardship to increase corporate development and fundraising activities throughout Southeast Michigan with an emphasis on Detroit. Representing Special Olympics Michigan in Detroit through networking and partnerships.
Previously, he was employed with Big Brothers Big Sisters Detroit for 9 ½ years where he among other things, managed the growth of school based mentoring programs, and the agency’s signature recruitment campaign.
A hybrid-entrepreneur, Antoine is sole-proprietor of Sow Graphics & Publications, LLC. A small graphic design and publishing firm he founded while a sophomore in high school. In this companies, sixteen year history, Antoine has been able to provide services to businesses, nonprofits and individuals, large and small.
Antoine is a graduate of the University of Phoenix where he studied Business Administration. A Detroit native, he is a graduate of Detroit Public Schools Western International High School. He is a published author, entrepreneur and Associate Elder in his local church, Greater Mitchell Temple Church of God in Christ, where he works with the Youth Ministry. A few of his accolades and awards include, Michigan Chronicle 40 Under 40 – 2017 inductee, University of Phoenix Alumni Association Spirit of Service, Detroit Public Schools Young Entrepreneur of the Year and more.
Committed to service, Antoine is a board member of 100 Black Men of Greater Detroit; BUF (formerly Black United Fund) of Michigan; FIERCE: Female Icons Encouraging Real Concepts of Empowerment, as the only male board member supporting programming for young women; The Michigan Dental Association Foundation; and God’s Old School Ministry supporting families and children.
He is a devoted youth mentor, and advocate for individuals with disabilities.
Antoine is a proud father to his daughter, Madison and loves encouraging and motivating others.
