I live at Ashlar Village in Wallingford., a senior community, and we were treated to a most entertaining and educational show yesterday. Reptiles have not been my favorite class of animals, but the way Cindy handled her charges dispelled my squeamishness in touching them. Her knowledge is amazing and we all were delighted to learn about animals which were not too familiar to most of us. Just today, I had a letter from an old friend whose grandson is coming from Spain this summer to work at Beardsley Zoo--I will do my best to make sure that he meets Cindy as I am sure it will further his education.
Thank you, Cindy, and best of luck in your new job--I'm sure your "pets" will still be very well taken care of at your home.
Response from Animal Show on the Go:
Carol - thank you so much for your kind words. Ashlar Village was a wonderful place to do a program and what a great audience - I'm glad you enjoyed meeting the critters. Off to East Haven now to educate 2nd graders!
I needed an entertainer for a cub scout banquet and was looking for something we hadn't done before. I came across Animal Show on the Go and it fit perfectly. Booking was smooth and Cindy was prompt, courteous and professional. Best of all she had 50 kids an 50 adults captivated with her presentation. The kids were excited and got a bit noisy but Cindy handled them with ease. Highly recommend.
Animal Show on the Go was fantastic. We booked Cindy for my daughter's sixth birthday party. She arrived early and immediately engaged the children. She had a great energy and an ability to really keep the children's interest. She brought a great selection of animals, was knowledgeable and personable. Worth every penny!
Pelham elementary school recently had Animal Show on the Go visit our students. Cindy brought a nice variety of animals and the kids were thrilled to meet and feel all of them. Cindy was great with the students. The kids had a great time and learned so much!

Animal Show presentations for libraries, museums and schools are generally 1 hour long and consist of at least 6 animals. Birthday parties are at least 45 minutes long and consist of at least 6 animals. We offer a general animal program in which your attendees see a mix of species to learn about different families of animals. This program is perfect for a mixed audience to see everything form cute and furry to slimy and scaly. You may also pick from a number of more specialized programs such as Endangered Species, Reptiles, Snakes, Adaptations, Bugs and many more to go along with a special themed party or curriculum. These programs are good for any age and can be booked for child care centers to assisted living facilities. The animals are presented one at a time and attendees are given the natural history of each animal. Staff offers a chance for questions and most animals can be touched.
Animal Show is an exotics pet rescue. We take in animals that were previously pets whose owners needed to place them elsewhere. We house snakes, lizards, turtles, birds, frogs, chinchillas, rabbits, ducks, hedgehog and arthropods. Only the animals that show no stress during programs travel for presentations. Animal Show is fully insured and licensed by the USDA. The USDA also administers surprise inspections to the facility to insure the well being of the animals housed here.
The presenter is also the owner of Animal Show on the Go. As the only educator/presenter you will be guaranteed that the person teaching has over 15 years experience in the environmental education and animal care field. Cindy King has worked with over 100 species of animals including venomous snakes, raptors, and lesser cats. She spent over 10 years as the Director of a Wildlife Sanctuary before creating Animal Show on the Go. She has presented for very small groups to presentations for over 300. King is also a Master Wildlife Conservationist with the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
Animal Show on the Go has done programs at museums in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York. Also at libraries and schools in CT and MA and private parties in CT. We have done programming at day care centers, senior centers, fairs, company picnics, conservation groups and nature centers.
