Called a "stand out performer" by the New York Concert Review, Andrew Trombley has performed a large variety of music from historical performance with Les Arts Florrisant and American Virtuosi to 20th century works by premiering works by composers such as Tan Dun and Lee Hoiby. As an orchestral player he has served under Christoph Eschenbach, and David Roberston. He has also served under Mikhail Pletniv, Herbert Bloomstedt, and most recently James DePriest in Carnegie Hall as Principal Bass. Andrew has performed with The Chelsea Symphony, most recently as a soloist, The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and is a member of American Virtuosi and The Weekend of Chamber music.
