I pride myself on performing as well as playing when the situation is right. I play as a solo act and in numerous bands for many different occasions in varying styles. My solo performances reflect that in the variety of music I play, which includes everything from pop to jazz. As a solo act I've played wedding ceremonies and receptions, bar gigs, slam poetry, and dance performances. As part of a group I've played places such as big theaters, festivals, 4th of July celebrations, weddings, Christmas parties, charity events, and a private resorts. I love music and performing as well, so I want to thank you in advance for the opportunity. I will travel anywhere with fair compensation.
We added the sounds of Andrew to our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and it was exactly the right touch. He was Fantastic and a crowd pleaser! Would hire him again!
Response from Andrew Snyders:
Thanks so much! This was a fantastic wedding and I'm so lucky to have been a part of it. Congratulations to you both!
This was my first time using Gig Salad and I was not sure what to expect, but I reached out to Andrew to see if he was available to play at a gala. Andrew responded immediately, was very professional, courteous and played absolutely phenomenally the night of the event. He was even a good sport about dressing up to the theme of the night.
Andrew has a life-long interest in music, and began playing saxophone when he was ten. Two years later he started taking private lessons from Berklee College of Music graduate and world renowned saxophonist Dave Camp. Dave has since become a friend and mentor, and Andrew now joins him in select musical performances.
Andrew is a versatile player who has had the pleasure of playing in a wide range of situations, starting with the school-run jazz and concert band. Andrew continues to improve his adaptability, playing with several local bands, entertaining at many major venues in metro Denver and the Front Range, and working with dancers and poets to complement their performances. It’s not unusual to find Andrew sitting in on one of the many blues and jazz jams in the Denver area, playing solo for street and stage performance, or performing at other events, including parades and private gatherings. He has been a stand-in with Heartbeat (5 Star Talent And Entertainment, Inc.) on multiple occasions and performs regularly with the big band sounds of Tuxedo Junction (Nobel Productions, Inc.).
Additional Booking Notes
I have a wireless mic system but and for most intimate/quiet settings I wouldn't need it. I can bring a sound system but there will be extra cost for it.
