Andrew was an excellent choice to play piano while people were showing up and eating at our wedding reception. As a musician myself I was skeptical of some of the pricing I saw online but found Andrew to be extremely reasonable and very easy to work with. He is a 1st class musician and played exactly the type of music we discussed. We truly felt lucky to have him and the piano added a wonderful touch to our special evening. I would easily recommend him for any event as his repertoire is very impressive and his playing could fit into many different scenarios.
Price Range: $150-1000

What to Expect
You can expect my performance to be:
* Melodic, musical, and fun
* Dynamically and stylistically appropriate for your event
I have performed and taught professionally on piano and trombone for more than 12 years. After studying music at the Hartt School of Music in Hartford, CT and The New School in Manhattan, I went on to serve as adjunct faculty at the University of Vermont (2002-2008) and Johnson State College (2007-2012). In addition to numerous weddings and functions, my solo piano experience includes residencies at Stowe Mountain Lodge (2008-present) and Michael's On The Hill (2007-2009), both in Stowe, VT.
When planning an event with me, you can expect:
* punctuality: I will show up on time, play, and be packed up promptly afterwards.
* professionalism: I will look sharp, do my job, and otherwise stay out of the way.
* musicality: I strive to deliver a beautiful performance every time, and am happy to adjust my playing to your needs with regard to style, volume, and specific songs you'd like to hear.
* courtesy: I am very easy to get along with, and will treat you and your guests with respect.
Additional Booking Notes
Here's the gear I typically bring to a solo piano performance:
* My keyboard (a Roland FP-80), stand, and two powered speakers (Mackie SRM-350s)
* My piano bench
* One 12-foot extension cord and a power strip
If you would like me to set up more than 12 feet from a grounded power outlet, please inform me in advance and I will make arrangements.
I am happy to perform on an acoustic piano if it's in tune. If you aren't sure, I will bring my keyboard as a backup, and we can assess the situation together before the beginning of the event.
