I currently offer a 20 minute juggling show, where I will come and entertain your guests with my witty jokes and juggling feats. In addition to the show, I can also add time after my performance for the kidos to come play with my toys, and learn a bit of juggling techniques for themselves. For younger audiences I will bring juggling scarfs and balancing feathers for them to try.
I also do ambient tight wire walking performances. If you would like to make your party's atmosphere a bit more exciting, why not hire me to walk live on a Tightwire? I will show up and set up my rig, then perform in costume for 15 minute increments, with 15 minute breaks for up to two hours.
If you're excited by fire, I absolutely have the show for you! I will create a custom 15 minute fire show for your party with music and attire to fit your overall theme. I have carefully crafted choreographed routines for seven different fire props including poi, double staffs, sword, hoop, fans, umbrella, and palm torches. My fire dancing is fused with years of tribal fusion belly dance training, and gives my performances, a unique and elegant style.
Belly Dancing - If you are interested in hiring a Belly Dancer, look no further. After spending five plus years training Tribal Fusion Belly dance with Jill Parker and at the Salimpour school in Berkeley, I have created a beautiful dance choreography that I would love to perform at your gathering. Whether you're interested in hiring a roving Belly Dance character, or a dancer to perform for a show during your event, I'm excited to bring my talents to your guests.
Ana Firelight is a Juggler, Belly Dancer, Tightwire Walker, and Fire Spinner based out of Oakland, CA. She is a devoted performer and teacher of the movement arts. Ana has been studying circus arts for close to nine years, has performed for clients such CA Great America, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Lucidity Festivals, and private celebrations of all kinds. She has also spend the last three years of her career teaching circus to children, and has a great ability to not only entertain the little ones, but also build a good report with the kids at their parties. She's excited to bring her years of experience and passion to your gathering, party, or event!
For fire shows, I always recommend allowing budget to hire a safety technician. I can provide one of my contractors for this role, however you will need to allocate budget to ensure the show is conducted safely. A typical fire safety fee is $50.
For juggling and fire shows, I will need to perform in an area that is out of the wind and has no low overhangs.
For Tightwire performances, I will need to set up my rig on relatively flat ground.
