Professional bartender for over 10 years with experience in all walks of this amazing profession. I have ranged from anywhere to an intimate private party for 20 up to a 60, 000 person outdoor event. I was brought up in the corporate world as far as my training goes so I pride myself on delivering a good product. I enjoy creating cocktails and recipes for a variety of different styles and tastes. I am very passionate about my profession and delivering whatever my clients desire. I have experience in speed bartending, mixology, and even a little bit of flair bartending. I perform like a duck on water, Calm and collected on the surface, but paddling like crazy underneath. The guest will see smiling faces, busy hands, and hard work. I do not like the word no, if I can make it happen I will and if I can't I will find an appropriate substitution with a quickness. I pay attention to detail and listen to the guests needs, down to if this person wants a straw or not in their drink or a napkin wrapped around their beer. Also down to remembering if they don't like it too sweet or need extra salt, remembering these things and not having to make the guest repeat their order is very impressive to them and attracts them back for more.
My name is Alexis Rolon and I live in uptown Dallas, I am originally from the Houston and San Antonio areas. I am 28 years old and started bartending at the age of 18, I learned from some of the greatest minds in bartending, before the days of flavored vodka everything I was taught how to make cocktails, not only in the quickest fashion but also the most precise and with a little bit of flair. i have worked in many restaurants, bars, clubs, outdoor venues, private house parties, weddings, corporate hotel events and more. I am very adaptable for any situation and my number one concern is customer service. Anyone can make a drink but it takes a special someone to engage with a guest and not only love what you have made for them but also appreciate how you trested them and hopefully make them want to come back for more. I pay attention to detail with my clients and especially their guests, afterall isn't that who the party ultimately is for? We want Everyone to have a good time. I am very flexible whenit comes to scheduling and have worked with many different catering companies and event planners in Texas. The details for my services vary depending on the event but no matter what it is I, myself will make sure everything needed will be covered.
I have bartended in all different walks of this career,so I have many different influences in my style of bartending. I started in a corporate restaurant in Texas under very strict TABC rules so I have mastered my "pours". This is the measuremnet process that determines recipes, I say this beacuse every time I make a Cosmopolitan, unless instructed otherwise, it will taste the same as it did in 2006, last Novemeber, yesterday and tomorrow. I also can put together any flavor profile for a cocktail for anyone. My second most important attribute to my profession is expediting efficiently. "Speed" bartending is another avenue for some and you see this style in night clubs or high volume venues.
