What to Expect
The layout of a workshop, seminar or lecture is dependent on the length of such and the topic the client wants to see covered.
In general, I like to have a pre-assessment completed with the leadership of the organization or corporation I will be teaching for. During such, we will set the goals of the sessions. I usually like to work for an extended period of time with clients because this guarantees higher success-rates. However, even in one speech or shorter seminar, foundations can be created.
That being said, I will prepare handouts and usually a PP-slide show. During the course of the program we will touch on subjects like:
- Character strength building
- resiliency building
- positive psychology
- decision making process
- increasing energy and zest in personal life and business
- overcoming fear
- set and accomplish personal and business goals
- improve relationships
- manage and reduce stress
All programs include lectures as well as hands-on practice (yoga, tai chi, and/or meditation) if clients wish to include those.
Alexandra is a board-certified Holistic Health Practitioner (AADP), RYT and Tai Chi instructor, and works intensively with members of the military and veteran community. She published her first book “Healing the Military Soul” in 2014.
Alexandra improved her own family’s lifestyle many years ago. What seemed overwhelming at first became easy to master in the end. That is the message she wants to spread. Change can be small, simple & fun, and nevertheless lead to tremendous long-lasting, positive effects on ourselves, our community, our work-environment, and our planet Earth.
Currently, Alexandra extends her passion for complete well-being to our environment and teams up with a conservation-biologist for her new book-project.
She teaches workshops and seminars on the topics of resiliency-building, mental and physical strength, and positive productivity not only for the military but also government agencies and private corporations.
Additional Booking Notes
To be honest, I am not a big tech-whiz. Therefore, I appreciate if sound, light, and staging is taken care of and I do not have to play a big part in it.
I used to work as a journalist and TV-news anchor and understand that there may be additional time in the beginning where I have to be present for light- and stage setting purposes. No worries on that.
I usually travel with my laptop for presentation purposes... don't need much otherwise.
good light, sound (micro), and projector for presentation is all I need
