Performer texted in the morning to confirm, then a few hours later texted saying he was too sick to perform and he would get a replacement. I had asked for him to play a specific song and he said the other guy would play it, later he texted me and said the new guy didn't feel comfortable playing it. Then the Alejandro sends me a screen shot of his conversation with his replacement where Alejandro says he couldn't talk because he was at a concert performing! So which was it, sick or double booked? Long story short, there was some traffic and a fire on the freeway, that made it a bit heavy, and it was too late for anyone to make the proposal, so needless to say I was disappointed. Granted the traffic wasn't anyone's fault but there are more freeways and given the commitment already made, with some planning there was plenty of time to make the scheduled commitment.
Alejandro did a great job! He played "Pictures of you, Pictures of me" by the Last Goodnight.
The atmosphere at this event was perfect, our guests were highly impressed with his skills and what he brought to the event.. Thank you Alejandro so much!
