Located in Bergen County, NJ, I am a audio technician that will bring more than just my equipment to a gig. I provide clients with the best audio experience around! If you are in need of audio mixing, management, booking, promotion, social media/email marketing, photography, videography... you name it, I can do it!
I have been going to pubs and clubs since I was a wee one - and it's paid off! My father was an audio technician back in the day and he showed me the ropes... and with a new generation comes new ways of doing sound. Now I'm showing him a thing or two!

When you hire me, you are getting top-notch quality work. I will set up the event from start to finish, and you will be left with an experience that you'll not soon forget. I am extremely passionate about what I do, and I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you hire me for any of your sound engineering/management needs!
My name is Avery Meyer. I am 26 years old, and I reside in Bergen County, NJ. I started pursuing Sound Engineering at a very young age. My father used to set up sound systems for clubs and pubs all over NJ and NY when he was my age. He taught me the ropes when I was young, and it intrigued me. It lit a spark that has been burning brightly ever since! Being in the school band playing clarinet for 8 years didn't hurt either. It allowed me to hear when things were off pitch or out of tune, and it carried over into my adult life when I started doing sound.
When you hire me, you are not just getting a person. You are getting an experience. Music, sound, photo, video, promotion... all of it keeps me going. I take away the annoyance of having to call people bar owners in your spare time to book gigs... I take away the need to have amateur photographers taking blurry photos and shotty videos of you performing, with people walking in front of you and some gross guy sneezing and coughing in the background. I book shows, maintain Social Media outlets, Email Marketing, Face-to-Face interactions and meetings with club and bar owners, Photography, Videography, etc.
My audio recording is a live feed straight from the board... so people can talk to me when I'm doing sound. No need for me the "shoosh" them and point down at the recorder, for fear it will pick up our conversation on the recording. I then take those raw recordings, mix them down, and upload them. I align the recorded audio over the clear, crisp video, and voila! A music video is born!
Although the norm for me is to work with bands, I also work with Solo Artists, as well as doing sound for events, parties, etc. I can set up the sound for people to make announcements, outdoor and indoor events, etc.
I have a passion for music; I appreciate all types and I would love to work with new people. If you would like to discuss what I could do for you, please feel free to contact me via phone or email. Thank you for reading my bio!
To ensure that you receive the best sound possible, I need to make sure of the following:
For BANDS (2-6 people):
- When setting up, there needs to be enough room for the band to comfortably play in the area allotted. They must be able to move around and not feel as if they are "on top of each other." Depending on the amount of people in the group, will determine the amount of space needed. This can be determined and discussed prior to the event.
- There also needs to be sufficient room for the speaker stands to be set up, as well as room in front of the band to have the microphones and monitors. This will be included in the measuring of the space prior to the band setting up.
- Sufficient power supplies will definitely be imperative. Although I will provide the necessary cables and power strips, I need to ensure that there will be at least 3 power sources (outlets) available to plug in to. (2 outlets for a group smaller than 4.)
-----------------------------------------------
For SOLO ACTS:
- For setup of one person with a microphone and/or guitar, there just needs to be enough room for them to have a stool or to stand, have the speaker(s) set up, and at least one source of power to plug in to.
