I wish there were 10 stars I can rate The Blues Brothers Tibute Act by The Soul Men! Dan and Lou were Outstanding, extremely Professional, punctional and so much FUN!!!! Each performance was executed with high energy and enthusiasm, making it impossible not to get caught up in the excitement! In addition, they created a vibrant and electric atmosphere and the audience was not just watching a performance, they were part of the unforgettable experience! It's a show that guarantees laughter, joy, and an all-around great time!

I hired The Soul Men to perform at my father’s Celebration of Life - he was a HUGE blues brothers fan! They responded quickly to my inquiry and went out of their way to make planning easy for me in this challenging time.
They were also excellent and extremely professional! Many of our guests were dignitaries and politicians and it speaks volumes that several attendees requested contact info for The Soul Men to play other events around the state and community!
The Soul Men brought the joy and energy I’d wanted to ensure this was truly a celebration and not a funeral. The event would not have been as perfect as it was without them. I cannot thank them enough for giving me such a wonderful memory and a worthy send-off for my legendary father.
If I could give them six stars, I would. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Was not sure what to expect. Kept it a secret from all of our guest. When it was time for the band to start, the ploy was they were a no show. Then they made the entrance. The crowd was shocked, surprised and blown away all evening. Jake and Elwood is very interactive with the guests right down to a conga line and back up singers. Can't wait to have them back again.

May 9, 2015- Amvets Post #26 - Mansfield, Ohio -Rock and Roll fundraiser for The Resurrecting Lives Foundation, a non-profit for Veterans with Brain Injuries.
What energy, joy, and enthusiasm the Blues Brothers Tribute Act for the Soul Men brought to the festival! They not only displayed enormous talent and professionalism, but also patriotism as they performed for our Heroes and their families. So many souls were lightened by their entertainment, while never losing the fact that we were there to support those who had served our nation. Several of our young heroes from Iraq and Afghanistan attended and were introduced to Jake and Elwood for the first time. Yet, it didn't matter if you knew the Soul Brothers or not at the beginning of the set, for you sure knew them afterwards.
We, at Resurrecting Lives Foundation, salute the Soul Men for their talents and efforts to honor those who served us. Like Jake and Elwood reminded us during their performance, "We are on a mission.... from God."
Many thanks for an evening of entertainment and a cause that we will not forget.

From their knuckle tattoos, to their signature hat & sunglasses The Soul Men impersonate Jake & Elwood to perfection. The Soul Men’s performance is a fast paced, high energy, audience participating routine that includes all of your favorite Blues Brother’s songs that gets the audience moving and dancing.
Since 1990 The Soul Men have performed at numerous private & corporate parties, conventions, casinos, fairs, festivals, and nightclubs all over the U. S.
The Soul Men perform by singing live to pre-recorded Blues Brothers music, with a live band, including some of the finest horn bands in the country or able to perform with the local "House Band" of your choosing. The Soul Men are also available for commercials or Meet & Greet appearances.
We also keep tabs on all the other Blues Brothers acts and cars all around the country, so we can make suggestions for acts near you!
Additional booking notes
We can provide a complete horn band, perform with "The House Band" of your choosing, or sing live to pre-recorded track music.
We are comfortable using your house system, or we can bring in a complete sound and light show.

Greetings Soul Men! Thanks so much for rockin' the house at The Rock and Roll Auction 2 for The Drive! The Soul Men really delivered a solid, entertaining show! Their portrayal of The Blues Brothers was "As Righteous As A Fist!" Right down to their knuckles...(Jake, Elwo...od!) From that fabulous entrance...(WOW, that was sooo f'in COOL!) to the way that they worked in local references, and the Sponsors- the thanking Miller Beer into "Hey Bartender" (are you kidding me? They LOST THEIR MINDS!!!) to the dance steps and acrobatic tricks. I mean, they went toe-to-toe with Brett Michaels AND Styx...even without a live band supporting them! Then to go on to the VIP area and schmooze with our special guests was above and beyond our expectations! Concert goers could be overheard after the event still talking about The Soul Men! I have been a Blues Brothers fan since I was 12. I never had a chance to see them live.
