Tribute to Jerry Lewis
Jerry Lewis Impersonator in Toronto, ON
Why hire Tribute to Jerry Lewis?
A spot on impersonation of a young Jerry Lewis, paying tribute to such classic acts as "The Typewriter", "Chairman of the Board" and many others -- all with that signature Lewis voice!
About
I first began playing Jerry when I was 13-years-old and my research and study into his life and genius has not stopped since. With my looks and lanky figure that are reminiscent of a young Jerry from the Martin and Lewis era, audience members will experience a spot-on and authentic portrayal of Jerry Lewis with everything from the classic Typewriter, Chairman of the Board, to monologues, jokes and songs, all with audience interaction and improvisation to boot. With my inexpensive rate, I am eager to work with you to provide high-quality, laugh-out-loud entertainment for your event.
I grew up in Kingston, Ontario and studied Film Production at Vancouver Film School, after which, I moved to Toronto, Ontario where I currently work as an Actor, Filmmaker and Entertainer. In 2008 I was awarded the TD Canada Trust Scholarship for Community Leadership and have been a proud member of that philanthropic family ever since. Charity work has always been important to me, and throughout high school I raised funds for The Canadian Cancer Society, The Muscular Dystrophy Association, while raising awareness on bullying through film, live performance and art. In 2011, I took the year off from performing to write, direct and produce my second feature film, entitled "William's Lullaby" which is currently in post-production, aiming for competition for the 2013 festival circuit.

ANSWERS TO FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: Where are you based/How far do you travel?
A: I am based in Toronto, Ontario but will negotiate a travelling fee for any out of town/out of province gigs. I frequently visit surrounding cities in the GTA as well as a few farther cities, such as Kingston, ON and even some US cities. Depending on how far out of town you are thinking, you may have to supply a sound technician in the area, however, nothing is off the table for discussion!
Q: Are your performances open to the public?
A: I leave that up to you. I do private functions as well as public shows. Once we have set a fee, you may sell tickets to the public if that's the nature of your business or organization.
Q: What is your rate?
A: My rate includes an appearance fee, a fee for my sound technician (if I am required to bring my own), and an hourly rate for prep time prior to. My fee does not include travel, accommodations or meals but depending on the event and locations, these variables are expected to be taken care of by the client. Please contact my agent for further inquiry (Mike Jackson, Seventh House Talent -- seventhhousetalent@gmail.com)
Q: Do you do charity fundraisers?
A: Absolutely.
Q: What do we need to provide?
A: Please contact my agent (Mike Jackson, Seventh House Talent - seventhhousetalent@gmail.com) to see my Technical Rider.
Q: Do I need to provide accommodation if I am hiring you for an out of town gig?
A: Yes. However there are exceptions. I do not need accommodation anywhere in the near GTA where I can travel to and from within the day. However travel/lunch for myself and my crew will be required. This can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Q: I'm not sure if this type of show is right for my event?
A: Contact us and we can find out! I've done everything from retirement homes to corporate parties to solo/public shows. Generally, this show fits perfectly in the 40-70 age range -- however, younger audiences have been a blast in the past as well. Not everyone has to know of Jerry Lewis to get a kick out of his jokes, routines and humour. If you're looking for a show that will keep people entertained and laughing ... this just might be what you're looking for! Feel free to hunt around this press kit, for videos, reviews and photos to help in your decision making.
Q: I am looking to hire you for my Nursing Home/Long Term Care.
A: As of January 2013, I no longer do Nursing Homes/Retirement Communities/Long Term Care.
Q: Is there audience participation?
A: The audience sets the tone of the show for the performer. So this depends on you and how wild you decide to get! Audience members are encouraged to dress up to fully immerse themselves in the Jerry Lewis era.
Q: What about publicity, ticket sales, etc...?
A: I can provide you with promo videos and publicity photos, otherwise, ticket sales and publicity are the responsibility of you, the client.
Q: How long is your show?
A: For corporate dinners/private functions, the 1hr show works really well. For a charity fundraiser or something a part of a bigger event, I can do anywhere from 5-30 minutes. The 90 minute show is generally more suited to a headliner event in a theatre setting.
Q: How do I get in touch with you?
A: For any and all booking inquiries, please contact my agent, Mike Jackson of Seventh House Talent at seventhhousetalent@gmail.com
