Theater of Magic is a traveling children and family magical theater based in South Florida. Featuring magician Jimmy Joe Cooper with over 35 years experience in the entertainment industry.

Our unique production combines the artistry and magic of rich traditions of theater, creating a performance experience that not only amazes the eye and mind, but takes the spirit on a journey into the riches of the subconscious.

Bringing you unforgettable fun. No one likes attending a boring party. It's not fun. At Theater of Magic, it's our mission to turn every special event into an incredible experience.

It's no secret... finding just the right children's entertainer can be tricky. Most performers simply do not possess the skills and experience it takes to hold the attention of kids. To make the problem worse, finding a performer that can handle a variety of ages is almost impossible.

Hiring a professional children's entertainer or magician can either make or break a special event. As mentioned, not all entertainers are created equal. You are likely to encounter a series of paid advertisements for party and event entertainment, but finding a quality entertainer is the hard part. Many entertainers are part-timers who entertain on the weekends to supplement their 9-5 incomes. When planning your event, a "full-time" entertainer is your best bet, as they will have the most experience and they will have a vested interest in making your event the best it can be. After all, "full-time" entertainers are going to have more experience than someone who just performs part time on the weekends.

Not everyone can captivate children while creating memories that will last a lifetime. Not all entertainers truly understand or work regularly with children to truly understand what it takes to keep their attention. Given the short of attention spans of children, you want to make certain that you choose an entertainer who has a proven track record of success when working with kids. An entertainer whose experience involves mostly working with adults is unlikely to be able to retain the attention of young ones for 5 minutes, let alone 1 hour. So make sure that the entertainer you choose likes kids and has a truly animated, fun-loving style.

Influences

Richiardi Jr. world renowned Illusionist. I was one of the few, that was able to meet Richardi in person and have the pleasure to speak to him on several occasions backstage. Without doubt, it was his illusion shows that influenced me to this precious art. I'm fortunate to own his infamous Buzz Saw Illusion that astonish many.

David Copperfield is another great mentor of mine. It was DC that brought my show to another level. Theater of Magic took over ten years to manufacture, leading up to one of the "largest illusion shows in the Southeast."

Also, Siegfried & Roy, Doug Henning, Mark Wilson, and many others in my 38 years in magic.

You will be entertained with levitations, productions, penetrations, vanishes, escapes, predictions, audience participation, comedy, and wildlife to mention a few.

The productions are set to modern themes with theatrical lighting, special effects (low-laying fog), and in our larger venues pyrotechnics.

We also offer the kids traveling magical theater. This is the one we perform for birthday parties, summer camps, and communions. All of our shows come complete with a sound system, lighting, backdrop, and special effects. Making all of our magic-illusion shows completely self-contained!

No agent fee!! You are dealing direct with the producer. Not only are you getting the professional quality that insures a great show, but you get it at a more affordable price.

Theater of Magic can produced many different illusion shows, because of the multiple illusions we have in our warehouses. Remember we our "one of the largest illusion shows in the Southeast."

Stage/Setup Requirements:
For the kids magical theater we need a minimum space of 6'x7' or better 12'x6' performance indoor area.

Additional Notes:
The kids magical traveling theater is composed of three parts:

(1) The opening is an amazing oriental magic routine.
(2) Magic & audience participation for 30' minutes.
(3) Illusions are the last remaining 30' minutes of the 1' hour show. It is all produced to up beat music.

JC was billed as the Magic Dragon that appeared on South Florida television back in the early 80's. He would incorporate martial arts with magic while producing over 10 white doves throughout the 13' minute oriental show.

He has studied the oriental art of productions from Shimada and Kikuchi back in the mid 70's. To produce a rare, classy, colorful, and original oriental style nightclub magic act.

All our shows are self-contained when it comes to lighting & staging. However, in large venues where a theater, auditorium, or concert hall are provided. We choose to use a local union that is familiar with all the technical aspects for those locations. We furnish transportation by truck or semi-trailer truck.

Our stage shows differ depending on venue: Cruise ships, fairs, fundraisers, corporate shows, etc.
