The Pine Needles

The Pineneedles were affordable and easy to book, they were flexible and willing to drive from the North Bay all the way to the South Bay for the event. The band came to the venue prepared and on time. The most important part. . . the music! They started out with nice acoustic instrumental string picking for the low-key part of the reception, and then rocked it out with high energy bluegrassy strings with great percussion and swinging vocal. Everyone was dancing- young and old. The music is accessible to many age groups. They were professional and unobstrusive. They were friendly and very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them.

The Pine Needles played our wedding last summer. They were wonderful. They accommodated several musical requests we made ahead of time, and were able to get the multi-generational audience up and dancing to a wide range of Americana string sounds that may not have been familiar to the entire crowd, but kept everyone smiling and tapping their feet. The Pine Needles are not the "average" wedding/event band, and are perfect for those who want a band with a broad but distinct repertoire and a mellow acoustic sound that is not afraid to take chances and rock a bit too. They were a huge hit with our guests and we enjoyed every note.

Having the Pine Needles play for our wedding reception was FABULOUS! We knew we didn't want a DJ, but weren't sure about hiring a live band. Well, the Pine Needles were perfect. They were friendly & professional during the contract process, met all of our wedding needs, and did a great job entertaining everyone. It was so much nicer than piped in or recorded music. My very reserved family even burst into a spontaneous sing along during the reception. What a wonderful memory of a wonderful day! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Pine Needles for any event.
