The Other Reindeer are a cappella Christmas carolers serving the Greater Los Angeles area who provide entertainment for your Christmas or holiday party. We are very interactive and can perform a set of entirely secular carols if that is your preference, but we are equally happy to perform traditional carols and religious carols. Likewise, we are flexible in our costuming; while we typically perform in full Victorian/Dickensian regalia (similar to what is pictured above), we are happy to sing at your holiday or company event in formal wear or contemporary Christmas apparel. Also, free with any booking upon request, we can write a custom song for your event. Express exactly the sentiment you want to loved ones, or make your co-workers laugh with a song about your company or industry! There is nothing like lively, animated and friendly costumed carolers to make your holiday party an event nobody will forget.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 30 - 240 minutes

The Other Reindeer provide a very elegant and yet interactive Christmas Caroling experience. The Other Reindeer are professional holiday entertainers in beautiful Dickensian costumes who not only sing, but also interact with and delight audiences of all ages. We perform in quartets of two men and two women, singing from ourextensive repertoire of familiar tunes, both traditional and contemporary,in beautiful four-part harmony. As a "younger" caroling company, we have a lot of fun while performing, and several of our arrangements have a jazz, pop, or rock feel; we even employ vocal percussion on a few songs.

We are happy to take requests and never have an concern with being videotaped or photographed - many people are excited to have their picture taken with costumed carolers! In a noisy dining room environment, we might move from table to table, serenading each mini-audience with a carol or two; however, depending on the needs of the event, we are equally happy and capable of performing and very engaging and amusing stage performance set. At a busy party, we might serenade your guests as they arrive, or we can also move from room to room if your event lends itself to that approach. Is Santa coming to your party? He needs entrance music!

Additional Notes:
Generally, no amplification equipment is necessary for audiences up to 100 in size. For larger audiences, or upon request, we can bring a sound system for a reasonable fee; please inquire for details.

Set/Song/Sequence List:
Our repertoire list includes both traditional and contemporary carols, and of course that means plenty that are great for kids! It is constantly expanding and actually is customizable - is there a particular song you want to hear? Ask us! If we cannot find it and sing it, we can arrange it for a small extra fee. We can even write a custom song for you; for most gigs we can even do this for NO EXTRA CHARGE. Please inquire if that interests you!
