We were looking for a local band that would play a variety of music for our New Orleans wedding recpetion and The LaCoste Band was perfect. We couldn't of asked for a better music experience. They played everything that we requested and then some. The band even made sure to learn our first dance songs. Carl did an excellent job communicating with us and he was willing to meet with us prior to the wedding day. The Lacoste Band is a great choice if you want your guests on the dance floor. We would definitely recommend them to anyone that is looking for a band. We couldn't be happier with our desicion to book The LaCoste Band. They made it a special night that we will always remember.

Dave Moore Wedding

I had the great fortune of stumbling upon the LaCoste band to play at my recent wedding. I had no idea who they were or hadn't heard anything about them before finding them online through the Gig Salad site. I took my chance on booking them for my wedding based on the clips I heard on their website, and the fact that they were one of the most reasonably priced band I could find in my price range for the event. I cannot describe how pleased my wife and I were with what then took place at the wedding. First of all, Mr LaCoste was most accomodating in helping suggest songs and taking requests for the band to play in the weeks leading up to the event. The band was easy to communicate with via phone and eMail, and I never had to worry one minute about any problems before the wedding day. On the wedding day itself, the band was some of the first to arrive, and got all set up and ready to go well before I had asked them to. They are pro's at playing an event like this, I could tell, and they filled in the spaces at the beginning of the ceremony with light music to keep the mood building. They even played an impromptu bridal entrance song that was most appropriate and thoughtful. But the REAL show took place once the reception began. This band played every sort of music you could imagine, for both young and old, and did them all extremely well too. There were people from all walks of life at this event, and I don't believe a single song went by without someone on the floor dancing, if not all 100+ who were at the event. They had my two early teen daughters out there dancing, which I have never seen before! Yound and old danced. Line dances, slow dances, fast dances, you name it. In addition, the band played many if not all of the requests we had made prior to the event, and did a great job all day long of engaging the audience. They even broke out a Zydeco tune! This is a full band, at least 8 members, with multiple singers, horns, arrangements styles, etc. My guests walked away thinking I had had blown out my budget by getting such a band as this to play the event. I had spoken to many music talent managers before finding this band, and had been told that I would expect to pay 4-5 times the price I wound up paying for this band. I do not know exactly why I was able to find such an accomplished group as this for the price they played for, but now that it's over and I saw just how much they added to the reception, I would say they would be worth MUCH more than I payed. This band was PERFECT for a New Orleans style wedding. All the songs you'd expect, plus anything else you could ask. They even looked the part, impeccably dressed, and with a polished look that you'd expect to see from a band playing at a major event, and not just a local wedding. We used The LaCoste Band for a United Way Benefit Dance and they did a great job! They worked hard, took request and are very talented.

The Lacoste band gave an Excellent performance at our Gala. The professionalism of Mr. LaCoste before, during and after the event helped to make things go smoothly! This band will have you dancing and singing all night. I loved how they tailored their music to the type of audience. I love them and my guests have been ranting and raving about them. "Treasured Times Remembered" was the theme of the McDonogh 35's Class of 1975-35th Reunion. The LaCoste Band made the night one that will not be forgotten! We danced to our favorite songs of the 70's, 80's and 90's. To those of us that keep up with current music...The LaCoste Band provided that too!! The band played from the very beginning to the end of the event...indeed they are professionals.

The La Coste band was simply fantastic and a joy to listen to !

The soulful sounds of the LaCoste Band made our class reunion a night to remember. It had us swaying in our seats, but mostly it made us get up and dance on our feet. The music was simply outstanding.

Carl was flexible, professional and easy to work with. The band's song list is extensive and I was able to add my favorites to the list as well. Everyone enjoyed the entertainment that evening and still talking about the 2nd line entrance. It was a wonderful evening. The band played jazz, dance music and the singer was incredible. The LaCoste Band was the highlight of my 1/2 birthday party. Everyone loved their sound and how they changed the spirit of the outdoors party that extended from the inside party. The weather was hot, but the band was hotter. Everyone enjoyed the band from the dancers, to the swayers, to the laid-back relaxers. I would definitely recommend The LaCoste Band for your parties. I have already booked them for next year.

I hired the Lacoste Band for our first Landreaux Family Reunion. The band was fantastic, and the spirit was so alive regarding their talent that many of the guests are planning to hire them for their special upcoming events. I would DEFINITELY hire the Lacoste Band in the future for any event that is on my agenda. Great job. Very entertaining.

The LaCoste Band was the main entertainment for our Christmas party in 2009. On a terrible rainy night, the band still came even though half the guests couldn't make it due to flooding! The music was outstanding and our guests partied until the end, hic, by the way, was a second-line led by the band around our house! The song selection was varied and the band members were very personable. We would definitely have them again!
