Background:
St. Louis Pianist, Dave Becherer has been a pianist for 30 years, 15 professionally. After building a strong foundation through classical piano study, he ventured into improvisation and composition in his early 20s. He obtained his BM in Jazz Studies from Webster University, studying with the legendary jazz pianist, Carolbeth True.

Dave is recognized by musicians and audiences as a top St. Louis Jazz Pianist. His virtuosic piano technique and his clear, melodic style makes musicians desire to play with him and audiences love to hear him. He regularly plays with his own piano trio, as well as with vocalist Heather Matthews, the Nu Element Jazz Ensemble and the Usual Suspects. Dave also regularly performs as a solo pianist and with his piano trio at private parties, weddings, and corporate events. Additionally he teaches private piano lessons from his home in Ballwin, Mo.
