About
Based in Las Cruces but also serving El Paso, Steve Watson is originally from the Chicago area where he attended the Chicago College of the Performing Arts Classical Guitar Program. He has also studied jazz guitar with noted Austin TX jazz recording artists Glen Rexach, Clay Moore, and Steve Geraci. For years he performed in the Austin area in jazz and variety bands as a busy guitarist and bassist. In recent years he has performed in the Las Cruces area, where he also teaches private lessons.

What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 30 - 180 minutes
Audiences will enjoy some great instrumental finger style acoustic guitar. Styles include jazz, rock, pop, Brazilian, Spanish, classical. I also use a looper to record and play over my own rhythms for a bigger sound.
