A few weeks ago I booked Shannon to perform at my friend's wedding reception. No matter how many times I have seen her perform I am always wowed and surprised by the new choreography and music she puts into her shows. Shannon Bishop has been teaching Middle Eastern dance since 2006. Specializing in both Egyptian and American Tribal Style belly dance, her classes cover belly dance technique as well as cultural & historical information, musicality and choreography, finger cymbal technique, improvisational skills and the use of many belly dance props.
Shannon is well respected performer in the region, and her shows are always elegant and fun, and appropriate for the entire family.
What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 10 - 60 minutes
Shannon will provide a unique and dynamic belly dance performance, tailored for your special event. From a quick 10-15 minute mini show to a full wedding set, Shannon will work with you to create an event that your guests will never forget. Shannon is available for wedding showers, bachelorette parties, sweet 16s, birthday and anniversary parties or for any special event.
(Shannon will not perform at any all male functions.)
