Influences

I always wanted to be entertained more than just played to so I gravitated to the entertainment capitol of the world - Las Vegas. I was fascinated by how great solo entertainers could hold a room spellbound for 3 or 4 hours, and I studied how they did it. The result was a very successful career as an entertainer doing what I had seen other great performers do in Vegas. Also, it helped me greatly to be an accomplished professional lead guitar player.

Typical Gig Duration: 90 - 300 minutes

If you book the Rockin Rick Live Music DJ show I will personally guarantee you will have the most entertaining DJ act you can find. My track record speaks for itself as the TOP performing solo act within a 100 mile radius for the last several years. It's hard to explain what I do unless you see it, but the numbers don't lie. My show has been described as, "A duelling piano bar on steroids..."

The only way a performer is able to play over 150 shows each year is if people are flocking to see him. My live music DJ show has litterally put clubs on the map, and to prove how successful my show is, I now own my OWN CLUB that is packed almost every night to see my show! I have no other entertainment in my club - ever - but me doing the same show I will bring to you, and people have to make party reservations sometimes months in advance just to get in my club!

Stage/Setup Requirements:
All I need is a clean 115 volt/20 amp circuit and staging area of appx 6' x 6'.

Additional Notes:
My show comes as a turn key production, including full sound system with back-up, complete digital lighting controler and LED low heat stage lighting. I have my own staging available also upon request, as well as my own generator for outside shows.

My sound system is a Bose L1 state-of-the-art digital syatem and is scalable so it can handle a large concert hall, or a small meeting room. The larger shows may require additional JBL/Crown sound and lighting equipment and I can provide that for aditional fees.

If a sound system is being provided by the event, my backline requirements are as follows: I provide the sound man a simple left and right XLR send and I pre-mix my signal from the satge with no monitors needed.

Set/Song/Sequence List:
My song list is extremely long and includes virtually every kind of music you could want. I perform over 500 songs live, including all the standard party classics like "Brown Eyed Girl" and "Brick House", as well as songs ranging from Sinatra to Geaoge Strait. My DJ collection is virtually unlimited and I have several thousand Karaoke songs I can provide if the audience wants to sing Karaoke.
