About Revolver

REVOLVER is the premier band in the region specializing in rockabilly music. We call if "feel good" music. The late great Carl Perkins said, "If you don't like this music you either don't like music, or your heart just quit ticking." The band's show includes a musical tour of the early days of rock and roll including Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis,Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly and others.

Biography:

The members of REVOLVER as young children witnessed the emergence of Elvis Presley, Johhny Cash and other Sun Studio artists as major stars and were also deeply impacted with the British invasion of the 1960's. They also developed a keen interest in classic blues music recognizing the influence the music had in the development of early rock and roll. Members of the band have played on Beale Street during the Memphis in May celebration, and have also performed at Sun Studio. Members of REVOLVER were also part of a musical group that represented the City of Springfield, Missouri in 1999 in a trip to Isesaki, Japan. Over the years the band has played for many non-for-profits, special events, parties and celebrations.
MIKE MACPHERSON sings most of the vocals for the group and plays rhythm guitar. By day, he is a Principal Planner with the City of Springfield, Missouri.

MARK SMITH plays bass for the band. By day he works for Public Works for the City of Springfield.

BILL BRYAN plays the drums and by day is employed by a local manufacturer

TOM CLINE plays guitar for the band and provides back up vocals. By day he is the Prosecuting Attorney of Ozark County, Missouri.

PAUL MOSES is a versatile artist. He plays the keyboard for most of the groups arrangements but also is quite accomplished on the bass and guitar. Paul is a landscape technician for a private firm.
Collectively, this band has been involved in live music and shows since the early 1980's.
