The Parrot Island Band is a Georgia (Atlanta) based, Jimmy Buffett tribute band and was nominated for the Trop Rock Music Award Duo/Trio of the year for 2009,2010 and 2011. We are a "Trop-Rock" trio and are available for parties, cookouts, weddings, fundraisers, corporate events (you name it!). If you are looking for enjoyable/affordable Jimmy Buffett music, look no further...we are "Jimmy Buffett on a budget"! For smaller events and venues, Bry and Linda Harris (the Parrot Island Band-duo) may be just what you are looking for. We love parrotheads, Buffett/Trop-Rock music and we also play a growing number of original songs that are currently being played on several radio stations.
great buffett tribute band!
i recently hired the Parrot Island Band for a neighborhood HOA margaritaville party, and from my initial communication until the last song was over, could not have been more pleased. we booked bry and his wife (he was on acoustic guitar(s) and sang, while his wife linda played the steel drum). they did have an option for the third band member on congo i believe, but we just went w/ bry/linda. after switching dates and start time around several times on them, he was more than accomodating! they arrived early for setup, and also put in some extra OT for us! I thought the pricing was more than reasonable, and the it was a great experience overall. Thanks for a great show!

come hear this tropical trio they can make the sun shine, and you will smile, even in sub freezing temps. they will get you to the island in one song. they are jimmy's love.... north of st. somewhere.

About
The Parrot Island Band consists of Kevin Garrelts (congas), Linda Harris (steel drum), Bry Harris (guitar/vocals)and can add bass player if needed for bigger events. The band has been together for four years and has had the opportunity to play all around Atlanta and throughout the southeast region. While we play over 50 Jimmy Buffett songs, we also have written nearly 20 original "tropical songs" that have been very well received.
Band leader, Bry Harris, has been a huge Jimmy Buffett fan since the mid-70's. He was named "most likely to open for Jimmy Buffett" by his high school graduating class. Although he took a long break from the music business, Bry is making up for lost time and enjoys meeting new friends at the numerous gigs that the band plays for.
Linda Harris is the beauty of the band and plays the steel pan. While many people only get to hear the steel pan on cruises or the Carribean, Linda brings the Island sound to the Parrot Island Band.
Kevin Garrelts adds the sound of congas to the band, rounding out the tropical feel to the music we play. Originally from Kearney, Nebraska - "Key West" Kev currently resides in Acworth, GA. While Kevin is currently playing percussion/conga with the band, he is also a rhythm guitar player (and a darn good one!)

Both children and adults alike find themselves swaying, dancing and singing along to music that takes its audcience on a musical vacation to a tropical destination (without the travel expense!)
