About Ovations Big Band:
Ovations is the new premier big band of the Southeast. Led by veteran trumpet player Don Edwards, it performs all the Standards and Swing tunes from the Big Band era along with Oldies, Rock, Latin and Contemporary Music as needed for dances. Ovations is equally at home performing for shows, dances and receptions. With its extensive song list and exceptional ability to read and cater to the crowd, it is truly the big band designed with all ages in mind!
Live Performance Overview:
The band provides its own band stands, stand lights and library. For local and regional engagements, it can also provides its own keyboard, drums and sound. For shows, larger venues and engagements outside the region, it will need a piano, drum set and sound system.
