Southern California's favorite Bob Marley & the Wailers Tribute Band. Formed in 2005, One Drop Redemption is a 'Roots Generated Groove Machine' guaranteed to pack the dance floor. One Drop Redemption were guest on the E! Entertainment Television Show, "Simple Life 5" last season, Starring Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. On the show, One Drop Redemption performed two of the songs from their upcoming album, "This Is One Drop Redemption". One Drop Redemption's "Redemption Tour 2008" is scheduled to start this May. One Drop Redemption will travel to Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Northern Cali, and Oregon for your special event. Weddings and Birthday Parties are our Specialty!

One Drop Redemption is led by the Jamaican born veteran singer/songwriter Ras Jahmark Tafari. Not only did Jahmark Tafari know Bob Marley and use to watch Bob and the Wailers rehearse at Bob's mother's home in Miami [he is longtime friend of the Marley family], also Jahmark's stage credits includes work with some of the best known international reggae artists in the world. Everyone from Ziggy and Julian Marley to Eek-A-Mouse, Jimmy Cliff, Pato Banton, and English Beat.
The 'riddum' (rhythm) section of One Drop Redemption is made up of some of the finest reggae musicians from both Jamaica and the US, making One Drop Redemption one of the most authentic Bob Marley Tribute acts in the world!
Founding member, SubaDread (lead and pick guitars), proudly stated that, "we knew we were on the right track with Bob's music when in 2009, we opened for Bob's son, Julian Marley, at the Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach California. Julian came up to us after our show and gave us the best compliment a Jamaican can give you. He simply told us, RASpect!"

Basic Requirements
Have a 32 & 20 channel (1200 & 1000 watts) sound systems as well as stage lights for parties and social events. For club and concert venues, we need 4 vocal microphones, 2 instrument microphones for guitar amps, 1 DI for Bass, 2-DI's for Keyboards, 1 instrument microphone for percussion, and 1 microphone for flute, trumpet, and melodian. 20x10 ft stage or better is adequate. Also prefer separate monitor mix for vocals, keyboards, and drummer with at least 4 monitors.
