Biography:
First “Nick and Ruell”, now “Nick and Ruell and Ned the Band”, have been entertaining people in the Ozarks, as well as across the country, for the past 28 years….. that’s right, 28 years. Formed from the Primordial Ooze that was Springfield’s early music community, Nick and Ruell and Ned the Band exhibit off-beat humor, superior musical talent, and themselves. In keeping with everything they hold dear…. Nick and Ruell and Ned the Band are known for never, never, ever lying….. unless they absolutely have to. Nick Sibley (jingle mogul, ex Skeleton, land baron, and multi-linguist) plays guitar, harmonica, and sings. Ruell Chappell (former Ozark Mountain Daredevil, multi-media prevaricator, award recipient and abstainer) plays piano and sings. Ned (The Band) Wilkinson (amorously bedecked with musical talent yet devoid of form, schooled in the ways of the fathers, seer of all …sayer of nothing) plays everything else and sings.
