Nate was able to play at my fathers funeral at a 24 hour notice. It was very peaceful and exactly what he would have wanted. Nate was on time, organized, and Was very easy to work with.

Awesome sound!

We hired Nate to play at our wedding reception while our guests were arriving, a cocktail hour and during dinner. He did such a wonderful job!!! Our wedding was at North Myrtle Beach and our reception was held outside under a beach house a few bloacks away from the beach. With breeze from the ocean and the sounds of the steel drum along with his selection of music, it completely set the mood! His playing really gave our party a tropical feel and added such a special touch! At one point, his time was almost up to be finished playing and we asked him to play longer (which he had absolutley no problem with!). I would have asked him to play all night if I could!! All of our guests couldn't stop talking about how good he was and how it really made the party that much more fun!! Hiring Nate was one of the best decisions of the wedding and I'm so glad we did! Not to mention, he was extremely professional and made sure that I, the bride, was happy and stress free the day of the wedding. He made sure to make arrangements to speak to someone else for instructions and questions the day of so that I would not be bothered and could relax and focus on me before I walked down the aisle. He also communicated very well with me prior to the wedding via phone calls, text messages and e-mails. He sent me a list of his songs and worked with me on what I wanted played at the party. He stayed in contact with me during the planning process and 2 days before the wedding contacted me for a final run through and planning so that I was worry free! I would reccomend him to anyone!

Amazing Musician! Flexible and Professional!

Nate Brown provided entertainment at our family reunion, and was well received by everyone present. The music was awesome! Even the cooks in the kitchen were dancing and humming along. To my surprise, many of my family members had already heard his music from attending other local events.They were especially thrilled to know that he would be playing for us. We would definitely use his services again. He was very professional and everyone had an amazing time.

Mr. Brown was a big hit at our Vacation Bible School. He did a wonderful job teaching the students about the steel drums. Then he performed great steel drum music that set the perfect mood for our closing celebration. He was flexible and easy to work with. We would highly recommend him to groups that look to please a wide range of ages.

Absolutely Incredible

Hired Nate last weekend for small outdoor party and he was incredible. He came on time and was flexible to stay longer. He played many great hits and took requests. Even found a way to incorporate a funny story that he over heard in the crowd, into a song. I can't say enough. I wasn't sure what to expect, but was blown away. Hope this review, does it justice. I will have him back again soon!

Multigenerational appeal

We hired Nate Brown to play at a Summer Reading event at our library. He was courteous and professional, but best of all, a huge hit with our patrons. He pleased a crowd that ranged from small children to older adults.

Nate was the highlight of my husbands 50th birthday party! He is a very talented musician and a great entertainer. He was prompt and graciously adapted to playing on a pontoon boat on our dock. We were not ready for him to leave even though he had played from 1to 6! We will hire Nate again and we highly recommended him.

Nate Brown was definitely the highlight of our Church's Mission Fair this spring. He created a bubbly relaxing atmosphere with his island tunes. We can not wait to have him back next year! This is honestly a great preforming choice for any occasion.

Nate was fantastic! The steel drum was very welcoming for guests before the ceremony. During the cocktail hour, the muric worked great for people to be able to mingle! Music went perfect for out mountain/beach wedding!

Nate is an incredible musician! With little direction he did exactly what I always wanted at my wedding ceremony AND reception. I didn't want the traditional wedding music for my ceremony (although he would have been highly qualified for that as well), I wanted something rich and soulful that connected me to my ancestors and the earth (it was an outdoor wedding). I walked down the isle to the sounds of African drumming, soft but powerful at the same time. Nate played along with a saxophone and a vocalist for the processional, and also unaccompanied at times, and could transition from one to another with ease. For the reception, Nate played the Steel Drums outside on the patio for nearly the entire time; he played a mix of Latin, jazz, pop, soul, anything you can think of and also took requests! I was amazed at his musical expertise and my guests still ask about Nate- I could not keep anyone inside the banquet room, they all wanted to be outside listening to Nate's music!!!! I would highly recommend hiring Nate for any occasion. He is musically flexible and can cater to a range of clientele.

He was great. Very professional - and a great value. His demo didn't do him justice. His sound equipement was professional level and has great clarity. I would highly recommend him.
