Just saw his show tonight at our annual Cub Scout banquet. He was also an Eagle Scout. Loved how he turned his tuxedo magically into a Boy Scout uniform.His slight of hand is flaweless, great timing and funny as heck, the children and adults had a great time through out the entire show. No lag time. Really enjoyed his singing voice also. Great magician, singer, comedian- great stage presence. It was our best annual banquet by far because we had such great entertainment.

If I had to choose a favorite...
Naathan Phan is hilarious! No, I mean, really so very funny. He'll surprise you with sheer silliness. But I've also seen him in more serious roles, and he does great there too. And you'd think with all the times I've seem him perform, from volunteering at cub scout camp to the community festival (in Tustin) to his stage shows in plays and magic performances to emceeing events; after all this he surprises and delights me every time. My kids are all comedians (non-professional), so I've gotten to experience many different levels of comic timing, but Mr. Phan has the best comic timing IMHO. It must just be his natural talent, because I've never seen him off his game. If I had to give one criticism, and maybe this is a plus for some people, he can be a bit edgy, nudging the boundaries of appropriateness. I'm a prude though, so take that how you want to. All-in-all though, he's my favorite magician and an excellent all around performer.

About
Naathan Phan was born in California, but raised in Glasgow, Scotland. He moved back to the states in the early 2000's, after which, becoming a graduate of the Orange County High School of the Arts and an Eagle Scout! He has dedicated his entire life to entertaining others which he has honed into an art. He has been acting since he turned 18, performing original stand up comedy since he was 16, twisting balloons since the age of 10, doing magic since he was 5, and making people laugh his whole life. He is, quite simply, a natural born entertainer.
His talents have been featured in movies and television and on stages across the Orange and Los Angeles Counties as well as the Inland Empire. He is a proud member of the world famous Magic Castle, home to the Academy of the Magical Arts, Inc. and until recently could be found performing magic at the one and only Disneyland Park and Resort and now you can have him for your next event. Naathan provides his own backdrop, instantly creating focus and a magical ambience, transporting his audience into a theatre-like environment, a portable PA system that's just the right size for your venue, and a full soundtrack feauring popular hit songs of your liking and/or original tantalizing instrumentals! A portable stage, professional photographer, and lovely assistant are also available upon request. Get a copy of the show on DVD or flash drive for an additional fee.

The shows vary in length because after years of experience, I customize each show to the audience you have to make sure they get the best darn magic show I can give them; each show is a unique experience. If you've seen me perform before, I will more than happy to repeat the effects that kept you gasping both in astonishment and for breath and/or change it up with other signature effects. I come from a theatre background with extensive improvisation experience meaning I can handle whatever the audience throws my way and I'm not afraid to play with anybody!
