as many young girls do, I pictured walking down the aisle on my wedding day. but unlike many young girls, my daydream was of my parents walking me down the aisle to the strings of canon in d. My father has always enjoyed classical music so I’ve appreciated its beauty from a young age. I was so excited to have Kate and her quartet playing on such a special day. it was clear from our first conversation that she was just as excited for my wedding as me! But more importantly, she understood the importance of walking down the aisle to canon in d. When it came to working out the rest of the program- she was helpful and supportive with the selections we used. the day I was married was the most hectic and wonderful day of my life. Amongst all the drama- I clearly remember looking at the quartet as the wedding party exited the ceremony and thinking to myself- wow, they got it just right, just as I always pictured. perfect!
