Based in Fort Collins, Colorado Porschia creates murals for any theme or style, from historic to modern. Porschia has produced a wide range of hotel lobby murals, restaurant wall murals and retail store murals, not to mention private residence works.

All of the murals and artworks are hand painted originals; some are hundreds of square feet in size. Murals can be created according to custom orders on canvas in the studio, although very often exterior murals are painted on-site or on location. Retail store murals are created either on location or as canvas murals that are installed. The mural art is painted on mural canvas or muslin with a specially prepared primer and ground. This unique ground gives the murals a rich patina similar to an old world fresco mural, while adding durability and longevity to the mural artwork. The murals are washable and suitable for commercial and exterior use. They are rolled for shipping and installed much like wall covering.

Cost of murals: Mural cost ranges widely depending on whether it's residential wall murals or murals for theaters. Portable murals require special edge finishing resulting in higher cost. The cost is based on total square footage per order, level of complexity and type of installation. The minimum for a mural is $200 within 25 miles, and $2,000 over 25 miles . Multiple paintings or murals on one order qualify for quantity discounting. Classical murals are often more expensive than modern art murals. Venetian plaster and special finishes are priced between $8.00 and $16.00 per square foot. All costs quoted are wholesale.

A piece is completed on average within one month, while rush order are possible upon availability of artist with an addition rush order fee.

Cost Details:
50% of the total balance is due upon the signing of contract and approval of black and white pencil designs. The remaining 50% is due upon completion of mural.
