Biography:
Margaret Sanzo Sneddon studied harp for many years with Ruth Negri Armato of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition to a busy schedule of weddings, special events, church work, and teaching, she has performed in the orchestra for regional productions of "The Fantastics", "South Pacific", "My Fair Lady", "Carousel", "Once Upon A Matress" and "A Grand Night for Singing". She also played for President Bill Clinton at National Hall in Connecticut.
She has recently traveled the world as harp soloist aboard Regent Seven Seas and Celebrity Cruise Lines and as a guest artist for Delta Queen.
Margaret has had many students over the years and, before going to sea, was founder and director of the Hudson Harp Consort, an ensemble of harps of all sizes ranging from a 24 string lap harp to a 48 string concert grand.
She is also a therapeutic music practitioner certified through the Music for Healing and Transition Program.
With her warm personality and personal touch, Margaret can help you plan the perfect music for your wedding ceremony or special event. She is also great at expecting the unexpected and can handle any situation with poise and professionalism.
