Miguel Bonachea is one the finest guitar teachers in Vero Beach. As an experienced classical guitarist and music teacher, he offers guitar lessons for all levels, from beginners through advanced, addressing each student's particular interest and skills. As a classical guitar player, he offers performances for a wide variety of events such as wedding ceremonies, receptions, and private concerts.
Originally from Santa Clara, Cuba, he has performed extensively as a soloist in countries of Europe, South America, the Caribbean, and in the United States. Before moving to Florida by the end of 2010, he served for several years as Dean of the Conservatory of Cali and Head of the Department of Guitar at the University EAFIT in Colombia.
He has played at the guitar festivals of Havana, Martinique, Bogota, and Quito; the International Music Festival of Brno, the Contemporary Classical Music Festival of Lima, among many others. Mr. Bonachea ha also been guest soloist of several symphonic and chamber orchestras. Recently, he has appeared as a featured soloist at Christ by the Sea, U.M.C, in Vero Beach, FL.
