When booking a magician for your event there are a few things you need to be asking yourself: What kind of event is it? How many people are going to attend? What type of performance do I want to book? Answering these questions is a lot easier than you may think. The types of Magic I specialize in are; Formal Close-up, Strolling and Table-hopping. -Formal Close-up: What better way to bring the audience up close and personal to the magic then with a Formal Close-up performance. Unlike strolling or table-hopping, a formal setting allows me to perform for a much larger group all at once (usually no more than 30 guests). I will ask one or two volunteers from the audience to join me at the table for the duration of the performance. Special arrangements can be made ahead of time to work a friend, colleague or family member into the show, making the event extra special. Formal Close-up performances are perfect for Birthdays, Fundraisers or Corporate Events.

-Strolling/ Walk around: Having a magician walk around the room and mingle with the guests as he performs magic for them is another form of close-up magic known as Strolling. I love performing walk-around magic for the guests because it creates a very intimate experience as the magic literally happens in their hands. Watching magic on-stage from 300 feet away is cool and entertaining, but having the miracle happen in YOUR hands is what makes close-up magic so special. I recommend strolling magic for Cocktail style events, Weddings, Family Reunions or Corporate Functions.

-Table-hopping: Going from table to table and performing magic for the patrons in your restaurant is known as Table-hopping. As the performer in your restaurant, my job is to entertain the guests with some quick, fun, close-up effects as they wait for their meal to arrive. I will perform for the table only after the waiter has taken their order and before their food arrives. I understand the importance of turning over the table and will respect your establishment as well as your guests. Let's add the extra bit of something special that makes your business stand out above the rest!


For those of you who are interested in learning to become a magician, I also offer magic lessons! Whether they be private one-on-one lessons or group lectures, be ready to learn some awesome magic to impress your family, friends, co-workers or to even become a professional magician yourself! I teach magic to students of all ages; from young children looking to be the star of the school's talent show, to magicians who want to become professional performers. Lessons and lectures range from beginner to intermediate and there is something to learn for everyone. Contact me if you have any questions or would like to book a private lesson or group lecture. -Private Lessons: Private one-on-one lessons are perfect for beginners who want to learn the basics of magic or intermediate magicians who want to learn more magic or polish up their existing routine. In my lessons I teach technique, execution, theory and performance as well as full length routines. The charge is based on an hourly rate and usually runs about $50 an hour (prices are negotiable, however do NOT include cost of needed materials). If you would like to book multiple students at once, consider asking about group lectures.

-Group Lectures: If you would like to book multiple students at once then a group lecture is the way to go. A lecture class requires a minimum of 5 students. In my classes I teach technique, execution, theory and performance as well as full length routines. The charge is based on an hourly rate and will be determined based on the size of the class (prices will NOT include the cost of necessary materials needed for the class). If you would like to book a single student for a class, consider asking about private lessons.
