Michael Gutenplan, born in Roslyn, New York and now a resident of Los
Angeles, California is a professional magician who specializes in close-up
and walk around magic for corporate and private events. Michael has
performed his original and unique magic throughout the United States
including New York, Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, West Virginia, Ohio and
internationally in London, Spain and Israel.

A graduate of the Berkshire School and Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in directing, Michael has worked at MSNBC, As The World Turns, MTV, E! Entertainment, Evolution Media and is the founder of Close-Up Productions. He is the recipient of two Telly Awards for his work in television, has appeared on the stage, television and in the movies and is a proud member of the Academy of Magical Arts at the Magic Castle. Michael continues to perform his magic around the globe.
