Ian Nathanson (Bandleader, Vocals, Lead/Rhythm Guitar)
Ian founded MEN IN BLUES back in 2001, and it's been going strong ever since!Classically trained on clarinet and Soulfully trained on guitar and vocals, Ian has been into music from a young age. His parents would play Canned Heat, John Sebastian and Beatles albums for him to listen to, and he'd pick up the recorder (remember those?) and play along. Ian got his start as a young vocalist in Middle School when he was a member of the almost famous " band that played in the gym." That was the spark that made him want to play guitar and sing. Whilst studying clarinet around 1976, Ian picked up the guitar and started jamming with records and other musician friends. Since he loved singing, the guitar was a perfect match for him. Ian's now been performing live shows around the Northeast and Southeast for over 25 years.
Ian is a graduate of The Crane School of Music (SUNY POTSDAM) and holds a K-12 Music Education degree. He currently teaches music in Cobb County Schools, and he also teaches private guitar lessons to all ages.
Neil Shupak (Harmonica, Various Percussive Sounds, Back-up Vocals)
Neil plays the Harmonica like there's no tomorrow ( which luckily there is!) and plays all types of various percussive sounds. He especially likes the Cowbell!! He's an all around great guy that loves life and music and it shows. Neil is originally from Philly and he hopes that you won't hold it against him
Dan Frisbie (Lead & Rhythm guitar/Vocals)
Dan Frisbie is a 1996 graduate of Kennesaw State University where he obtained his BA in Music concentrating on jazz guitar. During his time at KSU, Dan is a two time recipient of the Sam Wilhoit Scholarship while studying under acclaimed guitarist Dr. Wayne Goins. In the recent past, he has focused much of his musical energies in the field of teaching. Dan has also kept active in the performance arena, playing shows in various venues throughout the Atlanta area. He is an avid composer whose eclectic musical styles include jazz, classical, blues, rock, and new age.
Rocky Buldo ( Bass, vocals, Funk Meister from way back!)
Rocky Buldo comes from New Jersey was raised in a cold water flat over a honky tonk bar where he learned the Elvis, Tex Ritter and Gerry Lee Lewis tunes of the day that thumped away nightly on the Juke Box below his bunk bed as he slept. His big brother was a touring pro drummer when he was a tot, so he knew all about the importance of a tight rhythm section by the time he was 10. In 1967 Rocky picked up the Bass Guitar and hasn't looked at any other instrument since.Rocky has toured with Theodis Ealey, and has also played with Chicago Joe Jones, Larry Griffith, Lil Pink Anderson just to name a few......
Ron Russell (Drums/Vocals)
Ron moved to Atlanta recently from Tampa FLA, and has played with Jimi Hendrix back in 1969, Greg Allman, Al Wilson, and still plays with Bertie Higgins ( of "Jamaica Me Crazy" and "Key Largo" fame) down in FLA!

Will Aubry (Saxophones and Trumpet)
Great player that adds that "Sexy Sax Sound" for special and not so special occasions!
" A great time will be had by all! "
